Not to be confused with: Wardens of the Veil

Wardens is a flintlock fantasy roleplay with its own standalone lore and story. Players participate as residents for the Town of Leefside, a small seaside fantasy town, and sometimes go on adventures. Wardens is primarily a Social Roleplay with occasional combat missions. The roleplay has a dedicated team of GMs who organize events and help to tell stories with characters. Wardens is currently run and organized by BetaDesh, Foxhound99, Skarra365, CapoLock, StarAtly and Elusif. Wardens uses a custom made-for-roleplay world on VRChat, maintained by the staff of the project.

Setting[]

The Town of Leefside is a harbor town in the Kingdom of Eren. It was once a peaceful town but has now become a haven for the outcasts, the special and unique of the world. Those who find themselves in the town are often outcasts from the world. Whether they come seeking knowledge, redemption, belonging, magic or something else - the town welcomes all who seek to protection from the world. Keep the peace and power to the outcast. Those are the principles of the Town of Leefside. More detailed lore can be found on our website or on the Discord.

Group History[]

Wardens has been running since July 2022. Wardens was founded by FortuneVR. The roleplay originally focused on the "Wardens Guild" and it's guild members - The Wardens. Witches Academy and Wardens shared many of the same characters at the beginning of the project. Those characters along with some of the early lore for the project were inspired by Witches Academy. Wardens no longer retains any connection to the world of Witches Academy, as the roleplay changed rapidly within it's first year.

The story and focus of the setting changed to the Town of Leefside and it's many residents. The roleplay took on a more organized structure, using dedicated Game Masters, with pre-planned story arcs and character based storytelling more commonly associated with "closed roleplays". Wardens however still prides itself on it's inclusivity, openness and relaxed vibes.

Joining the Roleplay[]

Wardens is easy to join. Simply join the discord and check out our application channel. Wardens occasionally closes and reopens its applications based on how many people we can fit in an instance! Participants of the roleplay are collectively referred to as The Cast.

Cast members who join the roleplay are free to choose what level of involvement they want - they can choose to be support characters, or a full pre-approved characters, which are usually residents of the town. Unlike other organized "closed" style roleplays there is no restriction on becoming a full character. All our Cast members can choose for themselves. Wardens also allows Cast members to play up to two full characters if they so wish. There is no requirement to be a NPC before joining as a character.

Wardens runs every Monday evening, starting at 7pm EST until late.
