The Waifuwehr is a military-themed roleplaying community that primarily hosts events within VRChat, and was originally founded in 2017. For any lore and history related to the Imperial era of the group, see the Imperial Waifu Army page.
Overall, the community aims to offer a realistic, dynamic, and educational military experience to those belonging to cultures worldwide, all connected under one organization, regardless of one’s personal background. All are welcome to learn, and participate, no matter their schedule. Outside of events, the Waifuwehr is a relaxed place for fun and camaraderie, but within events the atmosphere is strict, balanced, and always in-character. Regardless of setting, we are a family.
The Waifuwehr aims to offer a robust, unique experience with the help of our avatar and map developers, who work around the clock to create realistic avatars and worlds for our members to thrive in. We are the first waifu military group of VRChat, but despite our age we are always working to improve the experience of our users, and all are welcome to join. All Waifuwehr lore is treated as separate and distinct to give us the freedom and space to host events however we choose. Our storyline is years in the making, and is always expanding! Our initial theme was centered around the Imperial Era, but as of 2021 we have moved forward with each modern year.
In order to enter our community and fully enjoy our selection of events, all new users must go through a quick application process. This process is a simple Application Form and Personality Questionnaire, and a spoken interview with one of our Interview Officers. Overall the process takes less than a few hours to complete, and once it is any new users that are accepted may schedule their first basic training event with an NCO or higher. Our community offers an array of events, and we aim to always keep our members engaged with variety overall. Thematically these events range from operations, to slice-of-life events, even into the multiverse and beyond thanks to the usage of our Stargate program (yes, like the movie and TV series!) No two missions are ever exactly the same, and we always strive to bring more to the table each time an event is planned.
With the assistance of our Development Team, you will get to experience new worlds specifically designed for the group, featuring vehicles, special interactable features and game objects, and much much more. You'll meet a welcoming community of individuals around the world, spanning from the island of Japan, Australia and New Zealand, the United States, as well as the various countries of Europe, such as Britain, Germany, and much much more. 1848-1852
The origins of the Waifuwehr do not begin in the modern day, but rather the late 17th century in the warring nation of Prussia and Germany’s scattered kingdoms.
Our story begins in a battle-scarred and divided Prussia, fighting to unite the scattered German kingdoms in the late 1800’s. From the turn of the century on, many vied for local control over Germany’s scattered lands, with the goal to grow more powerful and become greater than the rest. Many of the recurring battles took place within the establishing country, or were fought against neighboring countries such as France, Russia, or Austria. Eventually after many years of fighting, agreements, political summits, and treaties, the Prussian Imperial House of Alfherzen took control of all German kingdoms, and united them collectively under the rule of King Frederick von Alfherzen IV after many long conferences on May 21, 1848. The establishment of the newly formed Great German Empire would not come easily however, as many of the previously warring parties still wished to become the sole rulers of the German people. As such, only a few years later, due to the lack of a centralized military under the newly united crown, Frederick von Alfherzen IV was assassinated by one of his own advisors in 1852. Shortly after, Rosemarie von Alfherzen I, the late King’s wife, became the first Kaiserin of the Great German Empire. Rosemarie quickly began urging her people to pursue unity, and promised to promote growth and prosperity to all within her lands, which quickly won over the common majority who wished to cease the constant fighting throughout Europe at the time.1852-1919
Kaiserin Rosemarie von Alfherzen I wasted no time in forming her plans to improve the lives of her citizens. Her first established acts included the creation of new trade routes across the country, and the allocation of goods throughout major cities. Berlin and Hamburg quickly became two large trading cities, with Hamburg being the first established country-wide port city in just a few short years. With a newly established industrial era sweeping throughout Europe, many factories were built to help with refining materials such as cloth, wood, metal, food, and much more. Despite the Kaiserin’s campaign to end the Great German Empire’s involvement in conflicts, she understood that the quick growth of her Empire would likely lead to war in the future, no matter how much she tried to avoid it.
After ensuring stability among her people was secure, the Kaiserin sought to create an army that they would be proud to serve in. And so, within the early years of the 1900’s, the Imperial Waifu Army was formed. Kaiserin Rosemarie searched for the finest men and women from all over the country to serve in leadership positions and build up their ranks, ensuring that through the prosperity of the ever-growing economy, that they were well-armed and equipped with the finest technology. The Kaiserin’s fear of conflict became a reality just a few years later when the Empire began to run into premature supply shortages, with the newly developing port city of Hamburg becoming temporarily unable to handle the heavy increase of ships in its docks. In the years that followed, the First and Second Great Wars were fought to increase the size of the Great German Empire.
The First Great War lasted from 1902-1905, and involved the securing more land area to the west of established German territories. The conflict itself was relatively short, consisting of battles between the Great German Empire and the Entente, an alliance which consisted of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Russia, and the Ottoman Empire. Because the Empire’s supply shortage had not come into full effect, and would do so during the early 1910’s, the Empire was easily able to secure much new territory in the south and west, notably within Belgium, the Netherlands, and a few areas in northern France. Austria and Switzerland would soon declare themselves as members of the Great German Empire towards the end of the war in 1905.
The Second Great War from 1908-1919 was not so easily fought, but focused on the Baltic region and expanded eastward as the war carried on. Due to the failings of infrastructure expansion, the dawning of more advanced trade routes and supply chains, the Empire and much of central Europe would face a great famine, stifling the Empire’s progress greatly. Despite being a part of the Entente in the First Great War, the Ottoman Empire would eventually settle its disputes with the Great German Empire, and the two countries would form an alliance, helping to tip the scales and ensure the Empire’s victory in 1919.1921-1933
After many successes during her reign, Kaiserin Rosemarie von Alfherzen Ⅰ died of old age in 1921, and her granddaughter Elita von Alfherzen inherited the crown as her only remaining successor at the time. Due to her astute nature, Elita paid close attention to the Empire’s struggles and successes, and formed a list of goals to complete during her reign as the Kaiserin. In her first reigning year, Elita formed and founded the Alfherzen Order, which was enacted by the end of 1922. Under this Order, the Alfherzen military was formed, and its quick growth ensured that the United German and Prussian Empire had the greatest military presence in all of Europe.
From 1923-1926, Elita sent out the order to form an Afrika Korps after reading about the possibilities of ancient artifacts potentially existing in Giza, Egypt. This elite group of soldiers would be tasked with the retrieval of any artifacts they found, as well as frequently report back to the Empire on their findings, in order to avoid any items of importance falling into the wrong hands. Instead of finding a few trinkets and odd ends, the Afrika Korps unearthed a brand new type of ancient technology: a Stargate. Nothing like this had ever been unearthed, and those present rushed to investigate the site. After many months of hard work and intense troubleshooting, the gate was opened, and the best soldiers present were sent through to document what was on the other side.
In 1933, Holly Braun would be recognized by Kaiserin Elita von Alfherzen for all his efforts during his enlistment, and became the Reichskanzler of the Imperial Waifu Empire. This would make him the second in command of the entirety of the country, and commander-in-chief of its military.1935-1942
Holly’s first few years of leadership over the Empire were peaceful, and were met with little to no conflict. Things changed in 1935 however, when tensions in Europe began to grow once more. Western forces, such as those belonging to the British Empire, United States, and France began to send out threats to the Austrian government, due to moves they were making which suggested they wished to expand their territories once more. They deemed Austria’s actions to be unnecessary, and demanded they call off any further troops to avoid another world conflict. Tensions only worsened as time went on, until a full-scale Cold War-esque conflict brewed on until 1940, in which peace treaties were proctored from both sides, with the aid of other neural European nations.
Holly kept a close eye on this conflict every step of the way, and his relief would only last for under a year. In 1936, a terrible war broke out between the Empire and the forces of Lidija Danilow, the standing Vozhd of Russia. Lidija was incredibly power-hungry, and had taken advantage of the growing conflicts between nations to grow her own arsenal of weapons, and prepared her invasion of nearby countries soon after peace was attained. Lidija’s advances were quick and terrifying, which soon led to a full-scale war effort on both sides.
Such actions would ultimately lead to the creation of Operation Ostwind, a plan to strike Danilowgrad (the recently captured German city of Königsberg) and take out the Soviet leader before she could do any substantial damage to the world. The Empire came fully prepared, having won all wars it had previously been involved in. This time, a Russian-backed resistance was on their side, and the newly launched Operation Ostwind was in full effect, with the goal to take back the recently captured city of Königsberg. Surprisingly, the task was fulfilled in only two months, with few casualties on the German side. That same month, Rory Mercury and his Afrika Korps reclaimed the Northern coast of Africa, making the Empire the largest country by surface area in Europe at the time.
Technology throughout the Empire began to make a rapid climb shortly after Königsberg was reclaimed. Yet, following the trends of such an incredibly tense time period, the peace and victory were very short-lived. On the 14th of July, 1939, the Allied Forces of Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom joined forces to launch an attack against the Empire, having deemed its recent actions inappropriate on the global scale. The Empire attempted to sanction peace talks, pushing back against the claims of the Allies, but ultimately a Third Great War broke out amongst the nations. Having to take immediate action, Reichskanzler Holly Braun enacted ,,Unternehmen Ostwind,” or Operation East Wind, which was spearheaded by the Panzerdivision as a mainly defensive push to keep Empire-claimed lands safe. Since the majority of the Allied Forces chose to support Lidija Danilow’s forces directly, a majority of the war was fought on Russian soil. Due to inexperience, supply chain failures, and an overall lack of command on the Allies’ side, many soldiers were lost to the conflict. After many grueling months of non-stop fighting, the Empire once again emerged victorious on April 26, 1943.
To celebrate this victory, the Fräulein Braun Theater was built in Berlin to honor Reichskanzler Holly Braun’s sister, July Braun. Upon its completion, roughly a year after the Empire’s troops returned from the front, a grand parade was held in honor of the Empire’s incredible military victories over the years. Following this event was July Braun’s first concert in the new theater, and peace finally seemed attainable. The Empire took advantage of this newfound peace time, and there came a massive influx of new weapons, machines, and vehicles to be tested and distributed. Most of the same members involved in the expedition to Giza reformed and set out for the Arctic Circle, in their new Arktische Expedition. From this, the Empire uncovered several new artifacts, including the components required to reverse-engineer a new Stargate, which was slated to be built in the Bavarian Alps. This gate would also be a spiritual successor to the Egyptian gate, as the previous broke down due to being improperly powered for so long. That, accompanied by the fact that the Empire didn’t have a full understanding of the gate’s operational requirements led to its eventual decay and removal from service. Remnants of this gate are on display today in the Berlin Museum of History.1944-1952
As research continued, on the 14th of August, 1944, Colonel Aris Irene Rothsman finalized the creation of the Alpine gate. Together alongside Reichskanzler Holly Braun, they founded a team of researchers, explorers, and soldiers together that would manage its facility and future progress, branding it as the Stargate Program Placed in command to oversee all operations were Major-General Archer-Reginald Yeager and Colonel Lena Winter, a free-spirited young woman who was found to be fluent in several strange languages spoken by those within the gates. Under their command, the goal of the Stargate Program was to explore far-off worlds and realities using the gate, gather intelligence and resources from these places, and ensure that the operation of the gate would never fall into the wrong hands. Following its creation, Major-General Yeager and Colonel Winter subjected the most elite of the Kaiserliche Armee to a rigorous testing and training process, only choosing the best of the best for their new unit.
In the following years, the Stargate Stützpunkt-Alpha Center, or Bunker 52 of the Berchtesgaden Alpen Komplex was finally built in the Alps of Bavaria, wherein all operations followed. The bunker served as a storage place for strange materials and artifacts, as well as a housing area for those working on the gate. It was made in a manner that rendered it completely self-sustainable, running off of natural energy sources, with enough capacity to host many people, should the need arise.
During this time, the infamous Soviet leader Lidija Danilow would be removed from her position by the Russian people, and in her place a new Marshal, Irina Batov, was elected. Russia took the chance under their new leader to finally rebuild and start anew, working alongside many politicians from the Empire to form a new model of government that would benefit everyone. Not having to rebuild nearly as much, the Empire improved its infrastructure on a broader scale, and formally introduced the “Modern Era” of art, technology, and engineering, with free healthcare and education being available nationwide by the year of 1950.
Following the trend of overall improvement, the newly founded Rothsman Firearms (headed by Aris Irene Rothsman) would release many groundbreaking weapons which made their debut in 1952, such as the RF-G3, and the RF-MP5K. Other new aircraft and land vehicles would follow suit, with many of their releases being in the late 1950’s. Their overall quality and effectiveness would spawn many copycats by other European militaries.1961-1978
Entering the early 1960’s, tensions across Europe began to grow once more as the previously-removed Lidija Danilow was elected as Russia’s new Marshal in 1961. Such events were a response to a rapid economic depression that swept across the nation, and led to the creation of a new communist group, the Danilow Soviet Party. The DSP began an aggressive campaign to reap from the lands of Vietnam, along with their new allies in China. This caught the attention of United States President Phoebe Morgan, who reached out to Reichskanzler Holly Braun for assistance in quelling the rising conflict. Morgan and Braun created an alliance with Vietnamese leader Thai Huu Hoang, funding a campaign that would halt the DSP’s oppressive and violent acts against the Vietnamese people. During this time, in response to the growing fear of any spies or conspirators getting their hands on the Empire’s Stargate technology, Reichskanzler Holly Braun called for the construction of a new Stargate Center for the Gate and its artifacts to be safely stored in.
However, the newly budding war would not be easily won, and eventually the United States and Imperial Waifu Empire would supply ground troops in an effort to end the war more directly. One of these soldiers was Jörg R. Braun, Reichskanzler Holly Braun’s son, who led a group of elite soldiers that specialized in interrogation, and gathering information from the enemy. A few months after the United States and Imperial Waifu Empire set foot in Vietnam, Thai Huu Hoang betrayed the allied forces, and it was revealed that he had been leaking the locations of their troops back to the DSP’s military intelligence. Outraged and filled with motivation, the allied forces would continue to fight until 1978, when the war finally came to a close. The final deciding battle of the war took place that year in Saigon, where Thai Huu Hoang was held up in the capital building for several days, and forced to negotiate terms of surrender. In years following, Lidija Danilow would eventually be removed from power in a coup lead by former Marshal Irina Batov, who would then form the Russian People’s Union, and work to further stabilize Russia once more.1982-2005
A few years after the resolution of the conflict in Vietnam, Reichskanzler Holly Braun would officially retire from his position. The formal ceremony of his departure was enacted on November 20, 1982, which featured a grand parade and full military sendoff. In his place, Heike Adenauer was elected to lead as the Empire’s last Reichskanzler. Adenauer would enact history-making changes in 1989, officially reforming the Imperial Waifu Empire to a federal republic, making herself the first Bundeskanzlerin (Chancellor) of the new Federal Republic of Germany. With this, the Kaiserliche Armee was reformed into the Waifuwehr. Adenauer also pushed for the reinstatement of the Stargate Center in 1991, ensuring all of its facilities were up-to-date, and allowing research throughout the metaverse to continue in the following year of 1992. 1998 was the next big event for the Federal Republic of Germany, in which Franz Schroeder was elected as the next chancellor. His service was incredibly short-lived, because he passed away due to lung cancer in 2005. Luna Wendig was voted in as his successor, and she still serves to this day. Since her instatement as chancellor, Germany’s ties with NATO and the United Nations have strengthened significantly.2005-2023
The same year Luna Wendig became chancellor, a massive drought struck the region of Afghanistan. With its people suddenly unable to to generate food for themselves, many chose to rebel against the government and its lack of support for the general populace, making a coup d’etat and replacing all officials with the creation of the Islamic Republic. At the head of this movement was Masar-i-Sharif, proclaiming himself as the new Caliph in the year 2010, after the coup was successful. However, there was still intense unrest within the nation, and a civil war broke out shortly after.
NATO nations became torn on how to bring the conflict to an end, with wavering support on both sides. Eventually, support missions were created to evacuate civilians from combat areas, as well as provide aid to those in need. The conflict brewed on for seven years in total, and soldiers from various battalions in the Waifuwehr were sent on tour to assist in many ways. While the conflict finally came to a close in 2017 with the eventual removal of Masar-i-Sharif, NATO forces would employ the help of the Waifuwehr once more in order to subdue radicalized forces that began to form militias in Mali the next year. These militias were formed in part by influence from the Danilow Soviet Party, who had gained popularity throughout the region in the past. On March 13, 2018, Madhi Al-Yasser of Iraq would also plan a coup against the Iraqi government, which drove the country into a frenzy. In response to this, Syria would deploy their armed forces to try to aid the crumbling Iraq, but Al-Yasser had resisted, and another war would break out. In 2019, chancellor Luna Wendig would support Syria in their efforts by sending Waifuwehr troops to the area, mirroring actions of the past. Despite this, the conflicts in Iraq, Mali, and somewhat still in Afghanistan, persist to this day.
As a whole, the modern Federal Republic of Germany focuses on acting as a peacekeeper on the global stage. It acts as a support, assisting in humanitarian missions along with the EU, UN, and NATO forces. Currently, the group itself represents the 1st Army of the Waifuwehr, but is not affiliated with any real-life organizations.

Jägertruppe
The Jägertruppe serves as the Waifuwehr's main infantry group, with the function of performing as foot soldiers. Those within have the ability to specialize in many different weapon platforms, as well as outdoor and survival tactics. he main focus of the Jägertruppe is the tactical combat in low mountain ranges, urban or very large forest areas. The troop bundles the forces of mountaineers, reconnaissance as well as military police.
Sanitätsdienst
The Sanitätsdienst is a non-combat specialty branch of the Waifuwehr, whose members can serve in a variety of fields. Traditionally they are responsible for providing medical services within the army, and which has a humanitarian function during armed conflicts in accordance with international humanitarian law.
