The War of Unification was the war between The Galactic Union and the Mega-corporations 15 years ago.
Due to underestimation and incompetence the Galactic Union was defeated. Although having lost there are Union enclaves in the galaxy that are still engaged fighting guerilla warfare.
Two such guerilla organizations remain in the shadows, the ReUnion terrorist cell and The Shattered Legion, recently disbanded.
