The Grindstone is a bar that was run by the proprietor Rook in Season 1 and Season 2. It is used as a legitimate business front for the organization The Shattered Legion and houses a secret underground bunker. It works in association with the Tortuga Shadowrunner network by providing them with privacy and access to the Legion's services. Currently, it is ran by Faye with the help of Rivett, Sasayaki, ERR and Charles Rask.
The Grindstone is most likely one of the most defendable locations in District 32 due to only having two entrances, one hidden in the sewers, and the other one on a hallway with no way to access it other than the primary path, and as such it has been offered and used as a safe place to bunker down during crisis, such as the alien invasion.
