TheUnspoken, also known as simply Unspoken, and also known by the fan favorite name "Cup Guy", is a friendly human that knows all about cups, cuddles, and kindness. He was prominently featured in one of Roflgator's Q3 2020 episodes on September 12th, "Meeting New People On A Friday Night", where he won over the audience with his in depth knowledge about the creation of cups, amongst other cup aspects. This also led to the name "Jill Cupray" since the model he was using in the episode was that of Jill Stingray.
History[]
Historically, cups have existed since the dawn of time, maybe, probably not, but if so, TheUnspoken has existed right along side them. Within VRChat they claim to be relatively new, only being around a year at most. However their expert manner of managing both Club world bars and parties suggest they have been around the block once or twice in this virtual reality. This experience helped them when, one night at a Lanfear party, they ran into Rolf "Roflgator" Gator and began engaging them in conversation about their work, which involved the creation of Cups, as seen here. At first, it seemed like it would potentially be a forgettable meeting for both men, until TheUnspoken, ironically, spoke so passionately about Cups, he won Rofl's crowd over, even eliciting Rob to defend cups at a later point in the party, as seen here. From here on, the legend of "Cup Guy" was born. At present however, TheUnspoken has yet to make another appearance on the show. Sometimes leaving the audience wanting more is for the best however...
Personality[]
TheUnspoken is a gentle soul, not feuding, beefing, or causing drama with just about anyone. However, they can be a bit hard on themselves at times, especially in competitive aspects. Must be a side effect of mixing drinks and perfecting that craft. While knowing cups is their game, they can carry a conversation on just about anything, so striking up a conversation with them, despite their namesake, is relatively easy. They enjoy cuddles as well, crediting Tenks with having some of the best. They value their friends and making new ones, looking at new people they meet in a positive light unless they give him a reason to not.
Quotes[]
- "Cups"
- "The Occultist is a bad role, right?"
Trivia[]
- Jill Cupray
- The model used for the longest time and featured in the episode, "Meeting New People On A Friday Night" was that of Jill Stingray, from VA-11 Hall-A. The name "Cupray" came from the fact by night's end, the audience dubbed their new fan favorite "Cup Guy" and as such a merging of the two names was created by a dastardly and currently semi retired monokuma that roams VRChat as well...
- TheUnspoken is currently engaged to be married. The wedding rings might actually be cups, we just don't know.
- TheUnspoken has vowed to make an oath to that meal, whatever that means. Though the meal is probably cup related.
- While they haven't ran into Rob or most people from that night in a long while now, Unspoken has not lost their touch in their ability to work a mean Bar, with drinks of either the alcoholic or non alcoholic nature being in their wheelhouse of creations.
- They were accidentally taught the ancient language of Ababababa by proxy to one Digi.
- They are currently set to defend Digi and Graphic in Court at some undisclosed time against Tenks and Capston.
- Despite their name, Unspoken is not a mute, and the name probably has more meaning to something prior that VRChat even, perhaps some classic dark and mysterious past we may never truly learn about for plot reasons!
