A surgeon whose sole goal is to go around the world and heal those who need it the most, who suffer the most, and for the promise of his mother to be well known as a healer for all.

Attributes[]
- Major - Apprentice Surgeon: Because of his mother, Saria Kaido, and her teachings, Soma is able to Diagnose and treat minor to major wounds. If injured himself he is able to treat up to medium sized wounds on his person.
- Minor - Extra Set: One of the few things his mother taught Soma about a surgeon is that if you're going to be an adventuring surgeon that you should always have spare tools and medicine for the job. And so he simply has a replacement or two that he has for his tools in case he loses one in the midst of battle or harsh environment.
- Minor - Surgical Proficiency: With his knowledge of surgical tools Soma is able to employ them as deadly weapons when more common or standard weapons are not on hand.
Detriments[]
- Major - Lack Of Combat: Soma was trained to be a surgeon, not a fighter with great skill nor has the strength capable of fending off a single orc. Even if he has to use the tools to defend himself he still can’t win a one on one fight with another warrior. Thus if Soma goes against an opponent many odds will be against him.
- Minor - The Sight Of Angels: Ever since Soma’s mother has told how beautiful women are, and since the time when he was younger when she tried getting Soma with some of the lovely ladies in Arilaand Soma can’t ever stop being so shy around women. He will try talking to one when first meeting with one but will have trouble with his speech and will slightly break mentally if one tries to be intimate.
- Minor - Self Risk: Even with Soma being an apprentice surgeon, he doesn’t have the necessary materials to keep himself protected from diseases, risking him getting the disease from the patient he is working on if not treated properly or cured before he can work on the patient.
Backstory[]
During the harsh and troubling times of Arilaand, A small family with only two named Thrain and Saria Kaido lived to survive within a village called Malruun of Arilaand. They gave birth to a child known as Soma and raised him as their “family blessing”. He was raised and taught how to be a surgeon like his mother was back then when many have trusted their lives on her, while his father hunted and kept the family fed.
One day while hunting wildlife near Malruun, where the Kaido’s lived in Arilaand a pack of orcs led by one called Arkoth the Hunter ambushed and outnumbered Thrain and cut him down leaving him to bleed out. Saria, hearing the short battle in the distance, runs in the forest with Soma to save his father. Upon finding Thrain, Saria tried to do whatever she could to save him but it was too late. It was then that the orcs ambushed the two and while pinning both down Arkoth personally cut Saria’s head in front of Soma. With Saria’s head cut clean off by the Hunter and by using the tools that Soma had held onto for Saria he stabs Arkoth in the eye before Soma could be executed. Soma ran while looking back at his deceased family with a grin upon the face of Arkoth as they told his group to leave the child, for we have enough to feed the camps. Soma returned mourning and weeping and vowed one day to find and kill this Hunter who murdered his family.
Years later, he lives in Leydford with another nurse who is new to his work and has taken his mother’s place as one of few that helps the people who are hurt. He then decides that one day he will take his father’s dagger and prepare his adventure and use his skills he was taught by his mother as a surgeon to not only try and make himself one of the best surgeons out there, but to lay waste on Arkoth the Hunter, the one who killed his parents. Even with very little battle experience he will still try to find a way to kill Arkoth using his father’s dagger.
