Origin[]
Sinon Odessa was born on Hellion to a military family. Yet, unlike his two older siblings, Sinon seemed to exhibit an innate magic rooted deep within him, far more than what you'd expect of a human. What made such a thing even stranger was that none of his family before him showed any kind of Arcana, so he was just... Different somehow. It's unknown to him how or why he was born with such gifts, and If his mother knew, she never told him the truth: She simply called him her "Miracle". These gifts only intensified as he grew up, but he successfully learned to manage his unusual condition from a young age - channeling his natural empathy into his spells. From that point, his life very much changed - Rather than being pushed into the military by his father when he was alive, his mother, a Union Secretary, sought a different path for him in order to 'protect' him.
However, she couldn't protect him from loss - his father, Aeolus Odessa, died during the War of Unification. Despite seeing little of him throughout his life, the loss impacted Sinon significantly growing up. While his older siblings, a brother and sister, went into work closer to his father's military ideals - his loss drove Sinon further down his mother's path. To prevent such a loss from happening to another child, he decided he'd go down the path of Diplomacy and Public Speaking in hopes of preventing future conflicts. As such, he is now working as a Diplomat and Spokesman for the Galactic Union in the hopes to create a peaceful future for all on Helion.
