Who is Nisha Demeter?[]
Nisha Demeter is a medical teacher transferred at the middle of year 3 to Ascension Academy. Nisha was previously head of the medical of GMA.
Lore[]
Nisha was born as Nyx Amberledge within a larger town that was close to Tellusward called Castle Milgrim. Both of Nyx's parents were nobles, so she had a very wealthy upbringing.
History[]
Nyx had always hated that her household was bigger than the neighbors. It often led to her feeling guilty about others who lived in poverty. Additionally, Nyx would often try to escape the parties that her parents would force her to go to, and especially the dresses they would force Nyx to wear. The only times that Nyx felt like herself was when she was doing alchemy and magic experiments, much to the chagrin of her parents.
At the age of 18, Nyx decided to leave her parent's house, despite their protestations. Not wanting to associate with her parent's anymore, Nyx changed her name to "Nisha Demeter" to fully distance herself from a noble's life. Nisha decided to walk the world and become her own person, without her parent's influence and money.
Nisha's travels eventually took her into a medical apprenticeship with an older elven man named Jason Angelio. He trained her to become a field medic, using her magical Earth affinity to help those around her. She mainly resided either within his sanctuary, or on the outskirts of it, for the next 6 years. When Nisha turned 24, she parted with Jason on good terms, as he had taught her everything he knew.
To further her magical and medical career, Nisha managed to enroll into a school that called themselves Snailbrook Institute. This school was located on the border of Drimhowel, and mainly focused on defensive and healing magic. Focusing more on her earth magics, she graduated after a few years, and moving on to being enlisted to the CAF.
Being station with the CAF was Nisha's ultimate goal, as it finally allowed her to to become a true field medic, and to finally help those people who were less fortunate than herself.
However, during one of her routine missions, Nisha and the team she was with were caught in a explosion. Nisha was the only one from her team to survive the experience, albeit at the cost of her vision.
Due to this accident, the CAF reassigned Nisha to work at the GMA as a medical teacher. Not long after that, she was transferred to Ascension Academy as a full time teacher, where she hopes to train the next generation of cadets.

- Nisha jokingly mentioned that she transferred to AA because the was bullied by her students.
- Nisha is in a romantic relationship with Valus Blazeheart.
- Nisha is not 100% blind, as she can still see within 4 feet in front of her. However, this has been getting worse over time.
