Who is Aima Prof Essor?[]
Aima Prof Essor, or Professor Essor, is one of the professors that were reassigned to Ascension Academy at the beginning of Year Three. He is the new weapons instructor for the Cadets, with a focus on melee combat. Although, he has shown that he possesses significant skill with ranged weaponry as well.
History[]
Essor comes from the Federation De Reudes from the large extended Aima Family, which includes his brother Aima Yinnow, the mayor of Cari Town. He came to Ascension Academy at the request of the Headmaster at the start of Year Three.

Goals and motivations[]
Project: Numbness[]
Project: Numbness is Professor Essor's personal project of finding a way to alleviate, or eventually possibly eliminate, the constant pain of his cursed scar, finding that the normal star leaf is not enough to remove the pain, only dull it, he has taken it upon himself to take more drastic means of finding an end. After coming to the academy, he had a well paying job, ingredients, and the will to continue his experimentation. It is unclear if he's previously had assistance in this, before joining the academy, as he is not an alchemist, however is apparently experienced in self injections and medicinal drugs.

The first concoction containing the following (Failed Recipe Pending), failed, shortly after Essor was recommended to seek out Cadet Vevina Ciseris' venom. From there, he once again began conducting his experimentation, with the added directions of Flora having a paralytic that could be of use if the Venom proved useless.

The second concoction (Recipe Pending), taken exactly one hour and twenty eight minutes after the first injection, was an objective success. However side effects were extreme, even in incredibly small dosage. The venom's anastasia properties, in compound with the previous concoction in his system, as with a heightened emotional state lead to the concoction making the man quite delirious. Occasional brief breaks of lucidity were often filled with depressive thoughts. However this concoction proved he could be numbed, despite his temporary loss of functionality of his limbs, he for once ever since he was marred by the curse, didn't feel the constant eating away of his very being. It is important to note however, this was a small dosage to do so much, and additionally, was injected improperly via Esmae. The numbing agent wasn't in his bloodstream, however his entire body was extremely numbed. The roll on the dice for this concoction, was a four. Resulting in Potion Sickness.

Trivia[]
- Professor Essor has been shown to have an unknown addiction to meat, stating once that he needs a constant intake.
- For a time Roache wanted to make Essor into a wendigo, but the idea was shot down due to the number of transforming characters.
- Essor's experimentation with the numbing agent - and combative performance enhancement - concoctions have been nicknamed "Project: Novaleaf," however Roache in his discord expressed how he felt it was too early to name it anything, considering it's nowhere near completion.
