-ABOUT THE PASAPOGA NIGHTCLUB[]
Pasapoga Nightclub (or Pasapoga Music Hall-Nightclub as mentioned in its logo) is a luxury and elitist nightclub and cabaret world in VRchat. It is based on the legendary Pasapoga dance hall, founded in Madrid, Spain, in 1942 and closed in 2003․ Before being closed, Pasapoga went through different phases. After a first phase as a dance hall in the 70s and 80s it became a cabaret and show hall, while adding comedy performances. With the arrival of the 90s, this type of entertainment venue began to decline, but it remained when it became a house music and gay nightclub. Pasapoga closed in 2003 and in 2008 it became a clothing store, which was renovated in 2023.
This tribute version in VRchat is a mix of this diferet eras. It arises with a double objective. On the one hand, give the new generations the opportunity to learn about the memory of what was one of the most famous nightlife places in Spain and which served as an inspiration for many others around the world who used or continue to use its name. On the other hand, it performs disco and cabaret functions in vrchat with a DJ system via YouTube link. Its atmosphere is that of an old and elitist nightclub.

-DESCRIPTION[]
It is characterized by retro decoration in baroque and rococo styles. There is an abundance of gold objects, chandeliers , marble walls, curtains, tapestries and paintings in imitation of the work of the 18th century Spanish painter Francisco de Goya and other French authors of the time and with love themes. Allso have paintings of the history of Spain in allusion to the country of its creator. The decoration tries to emulate the appearance of its real counterpart, although due to the lack of sufficient information about it, the colors, exact models of objects and dimensions are approximate interpretations from old images and the author's imagination.
It has different environments, the main lobby, several staircases, boxes, an incredible dance floor with classic columns, bathrooms and a detailed drinks bar, several private rooms (VIP ROOM) with Pole bars, jails... and a cloakroom. Includes boxes in the upper floor. In addition to a room for the staff that simulates a prop warehouse and dressing room for the dancers. All over the map there are objects to interact with and make the experience more immersive: From picking up a bill, picking up a box of matches, a shisha to smoke, a microphone and a ball. The community of this world is spanish speaking although the staff also speaks English.

-ABOUT SPECIAL EVENTS[]
Pasapoga is usually found in a discotheque format. However, due to the history of the place that it intends to recover, it is possible to reorganize it as a cabaret by adding a longer stage located in its center, as well as adding tables and armchairs around it. These types of temporary interventions are made at the request or whim of their author. You can keep an eye out for these special events by visiting the map regularly.
-ALLIANCES[]
In this world you can find assets and textures from other maps by the same creator. Additionally, on these other maps there are references to Pasapoga, such as signs. Pasapoga belongs to Hermoren's "New Past" project that aims to revive other places in virtual reality in the future. Also is alliance whit other spanish comunity dance clubs.

-TRIVIA[]
-During its construction, its creator, Hermoren, regularly listened to the song The Show must go on by the British music group Queen in the background. So "The Show must go on" is the motto of this world. Being a metaphorical way of saying that the past continues to exist.
-Pasapoga Music Hall-Nightclub is a tribute to a disappeared place with the sole objective of reviving an extinct place for leisure.
-The word "Pasapoga" was an acrostic formed with the first two letters of the surname of each of its four owners: Patuel, Sánchez, Porres and García.
-The original Pasapoga was inaugurated on Gran Vía street ( previously called José Antonio street) in Madrid in 1942 and disappeared in 2003 when it became a clothing store for an important international brand. It was reborn on VRchat in February 2023, although it had to be re-uploaded in July of the same year to solve technical problems.
-Pasapoga was one of the first places to show LGTBI+ dancers and naked women in Spain. So it aspires to recreate that environment within VRchat's standards of decorum. He also sang in Frank Sinatra, as demonstrated by some poster textures used in the decoration.
-Some textures used in its decoration are actually real photos of the remains of the club currently inserted in the current clothing store or obtained on the internet. We find examples of this in the paintings and stained glass windows on the main staircase, the radiators in the living room or in some posters.
-It is one of the favorite maps of its creator, Hermoren, so it is common to see him dancing here or show it to other people and advertise it live on PetroleroVT's Twitch or in games in the Spanish vrchat community.
-It can be accessed from the vrchat menu or from hidden portals in other worlds of its author, Hermoren. Furthermore, in the staff's private room there is a portal that leads to a parody map of the city of Madrid as an emergency exit.
