The Padorus are not to be confused with Padoru Padoru, who is a character portrayed by a player, but who made it their own to liken the Padoru meme.
History[]
The Padoru is from an anime video game Fate/Extra, where the character Nero sings a Christmas carol. It slowly migrated into meme territory when VRChat became large. Originally, a flat variant was used, and then a proper 3D model began to spring up and spread around.
The Padorus stayed through out the December month, and some still run around spreading Christmas cheer even in January.
There are variants of Padoru including a Kanna version.

- The more recent Padorus animate their faces and can emote better then the flat variant.

- Many people are guilty of being a Padoru at one point including: Kirbynite, Shai, Shiro, Zentreya.
- I think most people jumped at the opportunity of being a Padoru thanks to the avatar cloning feature.
- You hear the Padorus before you see them, mostly as they are usually loud.
