Who Are We?[]
We are a casual Waifu oriented Military RP group based on an alternate version of the Ottoman Empire that is set in the Second World War (1940's), lead by Marshall Gazi Osman Nuri Pașa. Our group is currently in a alliance with the, Belkan Waifu Military, Kriegdian Republic, 1st Imperial Guards Regiment and the US Army Of VRChat.
Group was Disbanded 16th of July 2022 /-/ Rest In Peace
Many People Migrated to the Greater Finland, the predecessor and successor of this Group.
Language Requirements[]
It is expected that you have a good grasp on the English language, however you do not need to know any Turkish upon joining, though you might end up learning some along the way!
Historical Accuracy[]
To start of with, since we are a Alternate Historical Group, we do not keep most stuff historically accurate but we do try to follow the real life equipment that the Turks and Ottomans had/have.
How Heavy We RP?[]
Overall we are rather casual when it comes to regular events. However you are expected to be at your best during ceremonies/RP Events and when an officer instructs you to quit fooling around. Remember, wearing the uniform with pride and respecting your officers command, because those are also part of RP.
Introduction[]
And there was silence... or that's what people thought...
After the Great War has ended, a monarchy with a strong fist came to arise. It was a country of strong and dedicated men, one that would continue even after its death in the Spring of 1940 trough the people it has formed. This country of these people was called the Greater Finland. This is where our story begins, the story of how a Truly Elite Regiment was formed, how the people got bound to each other and finally, how a rising empire was reborn into new era of prosperity!
CHAPTER I | Glory and Failure[]
Once upon a time, few men gathered in the Land of the Northen Lion. At first they were four, but they were soon to become many more. After months of experience in the fronts of Europe, the two Non-Commissioned Officers, DarianStyle and Ein Patriot decided to open a Squad inside the Finnish Army to help assemble a elite that would fight off the idea that a Red Army could invade their now Homeland. Soon, as fast as the two blinked, two of their fellow comrades and brothers in arms, Thomas, yet another NCO and Gazi Osman Nuri Paşa, a low enlisted with great potential that had a strong bond with the other three, have joined Darian and Ein in a journey to found the new Squad known as the 98th Iron-Wolves Trooper Detachment.
At the beginning, the squad was small but still powerful considering that it was formed of War Veterans, but that would not last for long since Subject, Garry, Teddy and Kaneki, Four great warriors that would soon become the most prized members of the 98th, have joined in the new Detachment out of curiosity and the sentiment of Unity with the Leaders and Founders of it. The 98th would so on continue to grow even trough very tough times, uniting the people that are in it more than any army has seen. The 98th became a symbol of bond between people, safety, elitism and nor the less, friendship! At its peak days, the 98th had about 12 consecutive people that would be the highest of the high rankings in the Army, Ein reaching the rank of General, Darian Lieutenant Colonel, Thomas Major, Gazi Master Sergeant, Spooky General and all of the other members of the 98th being a NCO or above. At that point because of its size, the 98th became a Regiment, got their own distinctive camo and rank displays along with Symbols on Officer Caps and many more.
This happiness and growth wouldn't last for long tough since soon, the once paradise between countries or as it was known, Lion of the North would go into a huge instability period.
CHAPTER II | Talvisota/The Winter War[]
Seeing the instability caused by foreign spies and influences trying to take over the Greater Finland, the mighty mother nation of Leninism and Stalinism or more specifically Communism, has decided to send a ultimatum to Helsinki in order for the following to cede its territories and be once again part of the Russian Empire or as it was known then, Soviet Union. All regiments of the Lion have gathered, discussed and decided to fight till the end of them... and... so it was...
The 98th along with the Jager's were fighting hand to hand, the 98th alone inflicting hundreds of thousands of casualties with its unorthodox tactics onto the Russians, until a unfortunate event happened. The 98th main outpost was found and bombarded overnight, resulting in Spooky, Marik, Rev, Dbc, Garry and Teddy to be severely wounded and sent immediately to the field hospital. This was a devastating loss for the 98th and one from which it could not recover on spot...
The 98th ended up fighting till the end of the winter war with courage even after the loss of more than half of their brothers and sisters, just for the war to get more intense when the Finnish were obliged to capitulate under the Royal British tension that would temporarily split the country with the soviet union. The fate of the 98th was cruel due to them being considered war criminals and terrorists for defending their homeland and being expelled or taken by the British into custody, that being the case of Rev Spooky Marik and Temporarily Thomas Kaneki and Subject that got a way around the scheme, being able to be full members of the 98th and be active and at posts after one month of custody.
Now, the 98th was left without a home, and so they had to find a new forest to howl in with now only the founders, leaders, kaneki and subject remaining.
CHAPTER III | A Journey of Wonders and Experiences[]
After trying for days upon days to find a place the now exiled 98th could call a home, Gazi has brought up the idea of migrating inside his homeland, the Ottoman Empire where he could set up a few sheds next to the mighty city of Constantinople for our arrival. Due to the desperate situation, the members that were left of the 98th have all agreed upon going in the Sick Man of Europe as it was lately to be known since 1939 due to its political instability.
Since the trip was long between the ex Finnish lands and the Ottoman Empire, the wolf pack had to travel for months upon months by foot, to get supplies by hunting and working with the locals in their farms and workshops in exchange of food and other goodies, this being more of a good thing than a bad one since here's where members of the 98th gained skills that they wouldn't have gained anywhere else such as metalworking from local workshops, ways of growing plants and raising animals efficiently, fishing, shelter making (later on resulting in founding the bases to the famous 98th traps and fortifications) and most important to their daily lives, cooking... and what a cooking it was...
At the end of their traveling, all the 98th members have thankfully gotten safe and sound to the Empire that was to be their Homeland now with minimal unfortunate events. When the wolves entered the city they were greeted by a mass of people that have heard about the return of Marshal Gazi Osman Nuri Paşa, that was thought to be dead after cutting off all contacts with the Empire after the expedition of his in the Greater Finland. Neither one of the wolves knew what is happening when Gazi was greeted with such happiness by the people. Apparently Gazi was a unknown to the Fins, General,... No!... Marshal of the Ottoman Empire fighting in many wars previous and putting up a stable system that worked for everyone until recently.
The Ottoman Empire has never in its history been this week. Few decades back, Marshal Gazi appointed Orgeneral Ace to lead the Empire under a Military form of government and that worked out very well until Ace had to retire from its post. Whenever the Orgeneral retired, a new person had to be assigned that rank but instead of democratically electing someone, the people raced to the top and so, a corrupted government came to arise that did nothing more than slaughter men because they got too close to be the leader of this Empire. When Gazi returned to his homeland people felt relived and started having hope once again, but when the Old Marshal came to revendicate his position, he was thrown out the senate with a smile on the corrupted peoples face. He knew his people are in danger so ACTIONS MUST BE TAKEN as he powerfully stated it loudly after being kicked out of the Senate.
Soon the 98th would quickly realize this had to end in order for their new homeland to rise and with Darian's knowledge of Revolutionary Movements, a War has begun... a Civil War
CHAPTER IV | Bloodshed for Liberty[]
It was a warm night of August when the preparations at the Mighty Marshal's Orders and under the Supervision of the Now Colonel of the Ottoman Empire DarianStyle. The 98th started a sabotage mission of multiple military facilities that were not loyal to the Marshal that have succeeded without revealing anyone's identity face footprint or any other sort of identification act. This was when the 98th got recognized by the ottoman people as the Terror of the Night as the newspapers have showed it not knowing how to call these people. Now after the capital was left with little to none loyal to the government military units, stage two of the plan was to take place.
Gazi along with few men from the 42nd Ottoman Infantry, now a multirole desert infantry regiment made entirely from ex ottoman military personnel that were now known as loyalist have started raiding all the houses of the corrupt people executing them on spot due to their cruel crimes against their own people. With only the senate left, Gazi has went in the senate building alone wearing his mighty uniform with shiny golden epaulettes that were resembling power and his most loyal sword, the Sabre, forged by the best blacksmiths of the country, not ceding when 25 guards stormed the main door but in fact slaughtered them all with the blink of an eye, Gazi remaining covered in the blood of the traitors of his beloved country. Once in the main senate room, Gazi was greeted by the main contenders to blame for the crimes in this countries. With fear in their eyes, the corrupt men asked the Marshal what does he want at which Gazi responded:
I came here because one of my homes fell... it fell because of corrupt people... because of the incompetence of a leadership to take decisions by the people and for the people! I cannot express how disappointed I was when I heard the same thing is happening here... in the country I was raised, born, fed, and thought in. I thought that my Motherland would continue even way after I will find my end but as it seems if I wouldn't have been here, the country would've been burning in flames already... I cannot express any empathy towards you all traitors that only care about money and nothing else, but I'm still gonna tell you all one last thing... after you all have died, I will be sure that this never happens again even after i have to resign from my position... and if it does happen and I'm dead... I'm coming back from my eternal rest to slaughter them all corrupt people again!
The room suddenly when in darkness for a second and all you could see was a glowing ancient Ottoman flag that seemed to replace one of Gazi's eyes... as the people called it afterwards... it was the holy liberation eye that slaughtered all the bad man of the empire leaving it now pure to be lead by a Mighty Marshal and a Strong Senate!
Years passed and now, 1943, the Empire is a international superpower trough its top tier land forces and unity between the people. One Country, One Empire, One Person all under One Iron Government!
Chapter V | The Foreign Legions[]
Once with the establishment of the strong Empire, rum ours were heard that fellow friends of the North, the Finnish Imperialists have started fighting back the evil Soviets that were occupying their territories. Soon enough, the senate was mobilized in order to have a analyzation of the situation and see how can we help our dearest friends.
Short time after the meeting has started, a few members of the Gendarme, the Military Police, have reported a entire Division filled with a British Sent Tank Company and a Italian Sent Mountaineer Regiment. These troops were lead by Generale d'Armata Arghail for the Mountaineers and Lieutenant Dragon Loli for the Tank Company and were proven to be sent to combat the Soviets in case of the Ottoman Empire Involving itself into the war. These new assets to the Ottoman Army have greatly influenced the Senate to seek war against the Soviets in order to regain some border lands and free its own brothers.
Said and done, in a few months, the Ottoman Empire has Joined the Imperials into the Liberation war, initially getting pushed back by the soviet T-34's but then having the 98th Stabilize the Front using its mightily well renown tactics of storming tanks with simple grenades. Now with the front looking steady enough, the Imperials have requested help in the north, and who better to send than the Lion Born Wolves.
Chapter VI | Continuation War[]
Now with the 98th up in the North, Brig. General DarianStyle and General Ein-Patriot, along with the highly skilled officers of the Imperial Guard, Kenraali Gustav, Brig. General Boris and Ex 98th Member, Officer Cadet Rihterstrauss have started mobilizing every bit of Equipment and Men they could get their hands on, marking the start of the Finnish Liberation War, or as commonly known, the Continuation War where the soviets ended up to be severely defeated and put under a humiliating treaty signed by both the Ottoman Empire, and the new/old Country of Greater Finland, now under President Gustav and Prime Minister DarianStyle, that have formed a government which has merged all the good aspects of the Ottoman Empire, old Greater Finland, the Imperial Guard and with some 98th Tweaks that have proved worthy of Sisu.
Chapter VII | End of the Story[]
Since the 98th has now returned home along with its people, new or old, the Marshal has said Goodbye to his prized country which he loved so much, leaving it in the hands of a strong Democratic leader called Mustafa Kemal Atatürk which Gazi trusted so much.

The 42nd is the Default Army Regiment in the Ottoman Empire, being trained a little bit of everything,
98th Iron-Wolves Trooper Regiment[]
The 98th is a Elite Trooper Regiment that has the most trained and the best people in the Ottoman Empire, but also sometimes they look after internal problems and come with fixes for them. The Regiment is lead by Ein-Patriot and DarianStyle.
Lore: The 98th Fought in harsh battles in the Winter War, being first born in the Greater Finland. After the Winter War, the 98th was moved in the Ottoman Empire because of good relations within it, continuing to defend and fight with anyone that challenged their now homeland, fighting with Honor and Pride!

1st Alpini Italian Regiment[]
The 1st Alpini, Conceived in the ex Regio-Esercito, is a Italian Expeditionary Mountain Regiment that si highly trained in WW1/WW2 Mountain Tactics. It Merged with the Ottoman Empire for necessity.
Still Loyal to their former Leader under guidence of the Marshall Gazi they are bravely fight even in the coldest and harshest places on earth, fighting through blizzards and glaciers, recognisable with their black feather on their helmet/hat.
They challenge the Inosable and nothing is Impossible under the Black Flames and Feathers!

3rd Lancashire Brittanian Regiment[]
All Mighty to the Queen, the 3rd Lancashire is a Brittanian Original Regiment that has been created to shelter the people searching for a new home after the fall of the RWB (Royal Waifus of Britannia).
They are a Tank Regiment meaning they operate a multitude of British Bought or Captured Tanks doing their best at it every time! The Regiment is lead by Dragon Loli as its first in Command.
