Mugoober's is a cozy VRChat coffee spot where customers come to enjoy a laid-back atmosphere. Individuals usally come here to meet new friends and chat․
Designed as a safe and welcoming space for adults, all events and interactions within the café and its official Discord server are restricted to individuals aged 18 and over. The café strictly prohibits any illegal activity, as well as any form of hate speech, harassment, or abuse toward guests or staff. While alcohol, marijuana, and the use of cigarettes or vaping are permitted, all other drug use is not allowed.
History Of Mugoobers[]
Mugoober's officially opened its doors on May 6th, 2024, as a collaborative passion project between founders Jamaun and Kariluna. Originally envisioned as a small, cozy café within VRChat, the goal was to create a welcoming environment where individuals could relax, socialize, and enjoy light roleplay elements that provide both engagement and a sense of immersion.
The café is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with staff members who communicate in both ASL and VRSL, contributing to an atmosphere that is both friendly and accommodating. With ongoing support and promotion (particularly through the efforts of Derafog) Mugoober’s has seen steady growth and increasing community engagement.
Although Mugoober’s is an 18+ venue, explicit behavior is not appropriate or tolerated. The community follows a general principle that anyone a guest brings into the space is a reflection of them, and discussions or consequences may occur if a guest causes trouble or violates rules. Additionally, customers are asked not to go behind the bar during events. These guidelines are in place to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone.
The team continues to expand its schedule, aiming to host events consistently throughout the week. Mugoober’s remains dedicated to offering a warm, interactive space for all who visit.
