"I just work here" ― Morgan
Morgan Foxglove is one of the students that arrived at Ascension Academy at the start of year 3.
Lore[]
Morgan Foxglove was born in the small town of Rodrik, very close to the Whispering Woods. Morgan's parents are both healers, and run the town's clinic. The humans of Rodrik live simple lives, and are very suspicious of non-human outsiders.
History[]
Morgan grew up like any other human until she turned 7. Her ears became more pointed, and stripes of her brown hair changed to bright and colorful. Because of this, many other members of Rodrik became convinced that she was a Fey trickster, who would lure away other children into the surrounding woods. Morgan's parents therefore hid the changes with illusion magic while she was outside of their house.
When Morgan reached the age of 15, she was allowed to work in her parent's clinic. It is there that Morgan learned and mastered healing magic. However, due to Morgan being in close contact with other people, the illusion magic eventually failed. This led to a violent altercation with the other townsfolk, leading Morgan to flee Rodrik and venture into the surround woods. It was there that she eventually met her grandmother, Lady Syrene.
Morgan learns that Syrene is a powerful full-blooded eldarin, and it is from them that Morgan gets their fey ancestry. Syrene, seeing the potential in Morgan, decides that she wants to train her further in the ways of magic. For the next few years, Morgan comes to adore and look up to her grandma. Syrene, however, never once praises Morgan for anything she accomplishes.
Eventually, the opportunity arises for Morgan to prove herself. Syrene wishes to expand her knowledge of the world outside the Whispering Woods, and Morgan leaps at the opportunity to enroll at Ascension Academy. In doing so, Morgan hopes to finally make her grandma proud of her,
