While the Mega-corporations of Hellion might give of the impression of a unified front towards the slummers and wastelanders, but this is false. The world of business is often harsh and every corporation tries to dominate their competitors economically. One useful metric used by the corporations to assess the successes or failures of the corporations numerous ventures is their stock prices. Found at the entrance floor of the Galactic Union tower in the Upper City, with regular updates, it becomes a regular meeting place for the corporation heads. The stock prices are usually adjusted after each corporation sends a daily report describing what they did or discovered that day to the representatives of the Board of Corporations.[1] 20 days after the announcement of the presidential race Goldman was elected president of the galactic board.
