Maxwell "Maxie" Chambers is a demi-human Jerboa who was once implanted with upper-city level cybernetics, including both his legs, his right arm, and his eye.

Origin[]

He was abandoned to the Row by his family and, eventually, was dumped to the Wastes where he has lived for the majority of his life. Now within the limits of Scrap Town, Maxie wishes to pursue the craft of blacksmithing further to attain his dream of opening his own business.^[1]

Major - Spring To Action - Maxie’s cybernetic augmentations allow his legs to receive increased strength/dexterity, increasing his jump height.
Minor - Volition - Studying blacksmithing for most of his life, Maxie can preserve high quality materials when crafting.
Minor - Gotta Go Fast - Maxie jerry-rigged his legs to traverse the wastelands at high speeds.

Flaws[]

Major - System Malfunction - Given his hastily modified. upper city level cybernetics, Maxie will require constant repairs to keep them functioning optimally. Neglect for more than 2 days will cause his systems to shutdown and he will die. Maxie will take 10 full minutes to complete his repairs, timer increased by 5 minutes if the process is interrupted. An experienced Decker can reduce the time by half.
Minor - MY EYE!!!: Due to having 1 organic eye, Maxie will be less accurate when he is crafting.
Minor - Fight or Flight: Maxie is always on edge. If a situation were to escalate into a desperate struggle/decision, he will begin to hyperventilate and try to escape it.
