"Hynn" ― To Rin
Llynn is a High Elf vampire that is in charge of the custody over the vampires summoned to the culling. In the year 2120 she was tasked to bring Chipz and Victor to the Culling.

History[]
We see her first at the end of the first year of Ascension Academy as Llynn began the Culling rituals by placing a knife to Chipz and Victor throats and saying that the time for the Culling has come.
Later on we found her along with Chipz and Victor camping near the Dark Lands, she talked about the role of vampires in the world and how they influence human history reminding Chipz that although they help humans they are not one of them. After escorting her two charges within the Cliffs of Faust, she took them to the Trial itself and waited at the gate as they entered.
She was once again encountered within the Parmura në Nam’a, or "Library of Reclamation", in Aldoria between Hoslad and Mordhall, where it was revealed she is one of many keepers of the Library, known as the Penitent. She worked closely alongside another, Avindyl. Avindyl conducted the 'test' of the Students that entered the Library with Irinarya, which they failed due to a series of small cultural missteps. However when Chipz approached Llynn to speak with her, he beckoned for the other students to join them, opening the doors to a second chance which Professor Albrecht handled tactfully and earning them access to the Library's contents. It was also implied that Albrecht had spent some time in the Library long ago, and many of his adventures were documented within the storied halls, so he and Llynn may have met one another long ago.
Afterwards, Chipz and Llynn moved to the other side of the Library to speak and he requested access to any information on the Darkness the Library may hold. She revealed that the Library was once more of a religious order, however some of it's following were corrupted by knowledge of the Darkness and began worship of it, leading to a great deal of suffering and a destruction of knowledge. Because of this the Library was formed to pay penitence to the world, and knowledge of the Darkness is kept deep within the furthest chambers of vaults, only accessible to the highest of their order. She asked if Chipz requested this knowledge as a Student of Ascension Academy, or if his reach went further- alluding to his ties to Queen Tess as a Bastard Vampire Lord. He responded that this was bigger than the academy, he needed this for the world, so 'All the reach I have'. She instructed him to return, alone, and she would grant him access to all that he requested.
Personality[]
Because the Culling is a Ritual that must be performed in exactitude. The forms are known, the words recorded, and the deed done all according to the Ancient Rites. So Llynn is very compromised with the task she was entrusted, going as far as defending Chipz just to follow the sacred rules of this ritual. As an ancient vampire she sees their kind as shepherds that keep the world safe.
In her time at the Library during the Aldoria Mission, her views were elaborated on further with added perspective. She reminded Chipz of her words -- to find meaning in long life by creating something that would outlast him, referring to the Library as her project. In her discussion with Albrecht, her view of 'shepherding' the mortal races was given in the context of education, bringing the world knowledge so they might not repeat the mistakes of the past.
