Leona is a bathhouse worker in Fractured Thrones Season 3 who has done everything she could to avoid contact with clients, and most other people during her time in Nautis.
Backstory[]
Little is publicly known about Leona, aside that she came from Luxor after her time with her family of traveling performers failed, partially (or completely) because of Leona's weak voice. It is strongly implied that Basil helped onboard her to the bathhouse, first as a cleaner, and then a 'dancer' after Sunny gave one of her secondhand dresses to her. Only to her closest friends she speaks of what happened to her before coming to Nautis.
Season 3[]
Trouble and tragedy still followed Leona to Nautis, as during the Capitano's reign - her best friend Lilly was openly murdered in the middle of the bathhouse, in defense of Basil. Leona also assisted Aygon the Wolf in the slaying of the slaver, Theodore Saint.
She also believes herself to be a gespir, even cursed, from her interpersonal losses and not being burned after touching Ladia's candle. This, with her avoidant nature, tendency to overwork, and her alcohol addiction, causes her to struggle to make new friends or nurture the existing relationships she has. Even so, Leona does what she can to survive, and hold onto her small circle of friends including Eve, Vaeril, Araleth and Shakaar.
She is currently contracted to the bathhouse in Nautis as a slave, working under Vestele Whisperwynd.
