Who is Kakureta?[]
Kakureta is an ex- VRChat content creator who first joined the game on the 19th of October 2017 and acquired a VR headset on the 1st of December 2017. He used to be mostly known for his multiple Youtube videos recounting his adventures in the game, but he also has made several worlds and avatars. Following a short break from VRChat, he changed his name to .Xakku and stopped making videos, instead choosing to pursue roleplaying in the vast Metaverse RP, as a member of the Grape Gardens. Known as "The Spirit of Seasons", Kakureta is a mage that changes with the seasons and wields the power of each time of year. In other words he is the one who brings about each new season. With each being associated with one of the four elements (ice (water), earth, fire and air), every season allows him to wield one element. All of Kakureta's different forms have a different personality. His adopted child named Toytun27 also changes seasons with him. Kakureta seems to be friends or acquaintances with pretty much everyone from Kirbynite's circle of friends.
It is later revealed that Kakureta's true identity is actually an ancient celtic god known as "Nuada" (largely based on the myth of Nuada from IRL celtic mythology).
Biography & History[]
Previous Era (Before VRChat)[]
Not much is know about Nuada's life in the previous era. An eternity ago, he used to be a normal human. Eventually, he became a god and was granted "the gift of hearing", an ability that allowed him to hear the true nature of all things.
At some point much later, he created a human copy of his own person, and projected himself into it, giving rise to "Kakureta".

In a northern land far away from everything dwelt Kakureta, an ordinary farm boy who lived off harvesting crops from his garden. One day, he realized his crops were wilting, and that he wasn't going to be able to survive much longer. So he set out on an adventure, seeking a Goddess who granted him the power of seasons.
However, he found he could not control these powers, and, by accident, created a great deal of problems for the people of nearby settlements. Seeking to flee from the populace's anger, he used a power he should not have, and unintentionally caused a great age of frost, freezing many victims in solid ice and, as destiny would have it, inflicting the same fate upon himself. And thus he stayed frozen for many centuries.

Celtic god Nuada[]
At some point, a letter from #Morrigan addressed to Fruity and Kirby revealed that Kakureta is actually the ancient god Nuada, and that they were the same person all along.

Current Story[]
After gathering all the pieces of the grand ritual needed to successfully enact his vision, Kakureta put his plan into motion. He robbed the earth of its core (or what is believed to be the core) and used it to create a brand new world, his own personal paradise where he could finally be free from "the gift of hearing". He transfered his entire consciousness into his human self and entered the new world, leaving earth behind forever. Morrigan, who attempted to thwart his plan, failed to reach him in time, and could not prevent this fate.
The Soul Stream, the location where the ritual was conducted, now serves as the gateway to Nuada's world, though the path remains firmly shut. The earth's core is gone, and while the effects of that have yet to be seen, Morrigan has warned the gang that a change of this magnitude is very likely to bring about terrible consequences to the world, one day. Having achieved his eternity long goal, Kakureta now lives peacefully in a quiet, secluded place...
Seasons[]
Each of Kakureta's season forms have a very distinct appearance and personnality to them, with a few variations branching off from the main ones. At one point, the seasons "seperated" from him and became their own beings. It is unclear whether they were their own person from the very beginning or not.
Winter Form[]
In this form, Kakureta has white hair, striking blue eyes, and pale skin. He has a tall stature, albeit slim. As a typical energetic mute, Winter rarely speaks, but displays a cool personnality with occasionnal passive agressiveness and fighting spirit. He is typically recognized as the most "normal" of the four seasons.
Spring Form[]
Similar to his winter form, Spring Kaku has brown hair, green eyes, and fair skin. Having overcome his lack of speech, Spring is seen as the kindest and most genuine of the four, often showing concern for his friends. He brings joy to those around him with his bright personnality and flower power.

Dead Form (Spring)[]
This is the form taken by Kaku following his assassination. Using spring's healing magic on his own corpse caused a sort of anomaly, and Kakureta has become undead, a zombie. He has black hair, glowing red eyes and pale skin. Two black tapes that form an "x" shape cover his mouth. The being inhabiting this form is not Kakureta. Its origin is mysterious, and the only thing known about it is that it's a manifestation of the "madness" within Kakureta. Its intentions are unclear...
Spring reborn
Reborn Form (Spring)[]
After being reborn, Kakureta turned back to his normal spring form with the addition of a black tattoo stamped vertically across his left eye, aswell as several noticeable tattoos on his arm and chest.
Summer Form[]
Kaku's Summer form has changed far more drastically than his previous looks. He has red, orange and yellow hair that resembles the color of fire. He has vermilion colored eyes and tanned skin. Summer is a person of pure rage and anger, a man who seeks powerful opponents but refuses to battle weak ones. He is dangerous and destructive, filled with hatred and resentment towards those who have wronged him. His absurd firepower is something to be feared. For an unknown reason, Summer Kaku has a lava arm, literally, it's made of lava.
Beach Form[]
Created as a meme non-canon form, beach Kaku is what happens when Winter is exposed to too much heat. He "melts" and becomes OCEAN MAN. Wields a trident and controls the water element.
Autumn Form[]
In this form, Kakureta has orange hair and yellow eyes. He wears bandages all over his body, most likely to cover his multiple burns. Fall is by far the wisest of the four. He has a calm and relaxed demeanor, and hides a glint of melancholy and sadness in his eyes. Often good at giving advice. He possesses a scary white mask located on the left side of his hip.
Reta[]
Following the end of summer RP, Kakureta and Dead Spring merged back into one body, but retained their seperate conciousness, creating a case of mutliple personnalities in a single body. Upon putting on the mask, Kaku changes into a scarier form, known as "Reta". The spooky form is similar in appearance but significantly darker in color scheme. Reta's intentions are still similar as when he was Dead Spring, but he is willing to cooperate with Fall. Rampage[]
At the end of each season, all of Kakureta's forms have a "rampage" mode that possess powerful abilities of the season that just ended. It's been stated that he has no control when in rampage, and can only move on to the next season by being defeated.
Winter Form[]
During the end of winter, Kakureta became more hostile and developed a new set of abilities by creating the Blizzard Sword and a frost aura. It was also shown that Winter Kaku spoke a few times during his rampage (despite the fact that Winter Kakureta was known to be mute).
Spring Form[]
Previously to being shown, a piece of information from Altina Orion to Kirbynite and his friends suggested that Spring Kaku had shown a recent change in his behaviour, and had become more and more angry. (despite the fact that Spring Kakureta was known to be peaceful and calm).
It was revealed that Spring's tattoos actually act as seal to "delay" his Summer form. Once they were opened by a spell Kakureta had been working on, the spirit of Summer entered Spring's body, triggering the rampage. He then created a giant golem armour around him, transformed his staff into a giant rock axe and proceeded to attempt to kill his friends that were present at the time. He was then defeated by Sora Ichi.
Summer Form[]
Due to not being affected by "madness", Kakureta's Summer form did not have a rampage mode. He has stated that, contrary to the previous forms, he became much more softer than his usual self (usually hotheaded and stubborn) in the last weeks of summer, instead of becoming more aggressive like at the end of spring. During his last moments, Summer was empowered by the rampage, which allowed him to concentrate all of his power to create an enormous explosion, essentially self destructing to defeat his opponent.

Powers and Abilities[]
Frost Beam[]
An offensive type spell that he developed in his Winter form. Can freeze opponents.
Magical Shield[]
A magic circle that acts as shield, used by Winter, Spring, Dead and Fall.
Flight[]
The staff is also sometimes used for flight, as a means of transportation.
Healing Magic[]
An ability used by his Spring form. Allows him to heal any basic wound on himself or others, even going so far as being able to save someone on the verge of death.
Flower Sprout[]
On Kakureta's Spring Form, he can grow flowers and plants out of the palm of his hand. This ability is able to cheer up his surroundings. Often called "weed" by his friends.
Teleportation[]
This ability was used by Spring, Dead and Fall, and a fiery variation was used by Summer. While not true teleportation, It allows Kakureta to physically travel at great speeds, almost instantly blinking from one location to another. Summer's variation leaves a flaming trail behind.
Energy Drain Magic[]
This skill was used by his Dead Form. It has a similar style as 'frost beam' and 'healing', with the only noticeable effect being the draining of other people's energy.
Fireball[]
An ability developped by Summer, allows him to launch several fireballs at will.
Wind Gust[]
Used by Fall. Creates a strong wind current from the front of his staff that pushes foes backwards.
Force Lightning[]
Used by Fall. Lighting rushes out from his left hand and electrocutes everything it touches.
"Darkness"[]
Used by the spooky form. Makes the world around him very dark, others cannot see.
Equipment[]
Seasonal Staff[]
A wooden staff and the only equipment that was consistently used by both Winter and Spring. Its been stated that the staff is magical and "definitely not made from ordinary wood". It got lost after spring. A different one was forged after summer. Fall also possesses a different one.
Blizzard Sword[]
A longsword that is entirely made from magic ice. It is used by Winter Kaku during the end of winter.
Golem Axe[]
A huge axe made from his staff and two large stones on each side. It is used by Spring Kaku during the end of spring.
Fire Staff[]
A new staff forged as a replacement for the previous one. Made from burning wood, glowing hot metal, and mysterious red gems. Now belongs to Sho Kasai.
Fall Staff[]
A wooden staff carved in the shape of a bird, with an orb in the center. Used by Fall. Now belongs to Sho Kasai.
Sword of Ignis[]
The sword sealed away in the Shrine of Ignis, used by Dead Kaku during end of Summer RP.
Fall Knife[]
A shard of the Sword of Ignis, used by Reta.
Alternative Roleplay Characters[]
Altina Orion[]
Altina Orion is a young homunculus girl shrouded in mystery. She is Kirbynite's adopted daughter and is often seen accompanied by a large black mech. She first debuted as Kakureta's spy and informant during The Crossover.
Morrigan[]
Morrigan is the goddess of war in celtic mythology. As a disembodied voice, she served as a guide for Kakureta when he first entered the world of VRChat. She was later revived into a physical body.
Reta[]
Reta is the name given to Kakureta's dark alter ego. The madness within Kaku's mind became a being of its own, seeking an obscure truth only it may find. The origins of this dark being lie among the deepest secrets of our planet.
Xak[]
A young police officer from the Orlandosaka Police Department. He patrols the streets of the G. Gardens Home & City and tries his best to keep the peace and fight off regular monster attacks. Has 2 years of training at the academy and a fair bit of experience as a full officer in the Orlandosaka area.
Xiaoling[]
A young foreign eastern girl who recently arrived in Orlandosaka. Not many details are known about her besides the fact that she has an anoying but cheerful personnality and that she claims to not be much of a fighter at all. Despite that, she promptly joined the local adventurer's guild and the neighborhood watch not long after her arrival in the city. She seems to be hiding something.
Trivia[]
- Winter Kaku has a hoppou form.
- Reborn form Kaku's tattoos have been seen glowing for a split second in Kirbynite's stream.
- Summer Kaku arrived later than expected due to Spring's seals having kept him locked away this entire time. But the IRL reason for the delay is that he hadn't had time to make the avatar.
- Kakureta has mentionned several times that his avatar's height his 6ft, and this happens to be his height in real life too. Oddly enough however, his avatar is actually 5ft11in.
- The eye color of Kakureta's different forms all match the color of one of the Infinty Stones on Thanos' gauntlet. Following the final RP of the summer arc, memes were made of Kakureta comparing him to Thanos. It has been confirmed by Kakureta that his spooky form has purple eyes (even though they remain hidden behind a mask), which further fuels the Thanos theory.
- His in-game name has changed from Kakureta to .Xakku
- Any double lettering found in his name (e.g. "Kakuretta" "Xakkuuu") is NOT the right way to spell it, and is only done on certain social media platforms because the correct spelling was already taken.
