Who is Jimmy Akal?[]
Jimmy Akal claims to be a 14-year-old boy. For all intents and purposes that would seem to be the case. The boy comes across as very socially inept. He usually stammers over his words and appears to be extremely anxious and paranoid. Jimmy has said that he comes from "The Void" and is able to travel through "The Void" with the help of his grandfather. Not much is known about the Void or if it even exists at all. The same can be said about Jimmy's grandfather. According to Jimmy he has knowledge that the Void will soon consume everyone and everything and that we all will be better off because of it.
People who have somehow managed to hold a conversation with Jimmy have reported extremely bizarre behavior such as the boy suffering from sudden "convulsions" while standing upright. The convulsions will last about 5 seconds, after which Jimmy's hands and eyes are enveloped in a strange purple energy. Jimmy's personality goes from being what people would describe as a weak, unsure child to an incredibly witty, smart and overly confident man. While in this state Jimmy will be very irritable and shout at you in what sounds like the voice of an older man. These 'episodes' last about 30 or so seconds and happen, reportedly, quite frequently. Once his convulsions end Jimmy returns to his 'normal' behavior, unable to remember anything from the last 30 seconds, while being noticeably more panicked.
What is the Void?[]

The Void is said to be a metaphysical realm that represents the absence of existence and the cessation of thought․ It is a dimension where the very fabric of reality unravels - space and time converge into an infinite singularity‚ and consciousness expands beyond the limits of individuality․ According to Jimmy Akal, the Void is where every single being goes when their life ends. When left alone, sometimes Jimmy can be heard rambling about the Void to an unseen yet seemingly present entity. Eyewitnesses of said ramblings have reported that they have overheard the boy say that the Void is a realm where time itself ceases to exist. He's also stated that within the Void you transform into "what you were meant to be". What he means by this is still not known.
Jimmy will usually mock people who worship, what he calls, false "Idols and Gods". He believes that the only thing that should be worshiped is solely the Void itself. Jimmy has claimed multiple times, to anyone that would listen, that he has gone to bed and awoken inside of a strange room within a cathedral, that he believes, to be located deep within the Void. He claims that his grandfather lives inside of the cathedral and has shown him a future where the universe is consumed by a "strangely alluring darkness". The boy has, many times, tried to describe the events prophesied by his grandfather, which can only be described as horrific. Jimmy will usually follow up the description by stating that he believes allowing these events to unfold is a good thing and will only help everyone in the end.
To his dismay, people do not believe him and simply dismiss his words as nonsense.
What is the Perception of Null?[]

The Perception of Null is an enigmatic cult shrouded in the whispers of secrecy and the echoes of oblivion․ Its members are seekers of the ultimate truth that, they believe, lies within The Void. The cults doctrine is centered around the belief that reality‚ as perceived by the senses‚ is but a veil - a distraction from the boundless potential accessible to one once they become unified with The Void․
They hold that by transcending physical perceptions‚ one can achieve a state of pure consciousness‚ unbound by the material world․ The ultimate goal of the Perception of Null is to achieve a collective ascension into The Void‚ where they believe they will find release from the confines of reality and enter a state of eternal tranquility․ According to the cultists of Null‚ the Void is slowly consuming multiple realities and will soon consume "everything"․ The cultists of Null engage in esoteric rituals designed to strip away the layers of reality․ In doing so‚ the Void is made to seep into the perceivable realm‚ thus allowing the Void's consumption of dimensions to continue at an accelerated rate․
Jimmy agreed to joining the strange cult following a discussion with Mogo Tol, an odd entity he had frequently seen in his grandfather's company but who has lately been shadowing him for reasons unknown. Recently elevated to a position of considerable influence, and despite a certain naivety, Jimmy's fervent belief in the group’s doctrine and his unshakable resolve to guide the members towards the enigmatic embrace of The Void has garnered Jimmy unexpected authority within the Perception of Null. He now acts as the "Grand Advisor" to Mogo Tol. The entity seems to become enamored with Jimmy when he makes mention of his strange visions of the Void slowly consuming "everything and everyone".
Who is Mogo Tol?[]
Mogo Tol, the Supreme Chancellor of The Perception of Null, is a powerful Void entity. His charisma is said to be compelling, with a presence that commands attention and exudes an aura of serene confidence. With a voice that resonates with the wisdom of the ages, Mogo Tol inspires a devout following. The reasons for his recent interest in Jimmy Akal are currently unknown.
Who is Gramppe Akal?[]

Gramppe Akal is a Void being that takes the form of a stern old man. He has been depicted wearing a black tattered cloak and has a long white beard with a bald head. Gramppe, to date, has never been seen by anyone other than Jimmy Akal and the Void entity known as Mogo Tol. The only proof of Gramppe's existence, if you could even call it proof, is a portrait that can be found hanging within the Cathedral of The Void. Not much is known about Gramppe other than that Jimmy Akal believes, for whatever reason, that the being is his grandfather. It is possible that Jimmy's thoughts were altered in full by Gramppe. It could explain Jimmy's constant obsession with the Void.

Overview[]
Jimmy Akal is an 'initiate' mage.
He has the ability to channel Fire, Ice, Water, Lightning and Earth magic through his own will. When the time calls for it, Jimmy can also cast a protective force field around himself. Jimmy suffers from being possessed by his grandfather, Gramppe Akal. When Gramppe takes control of his grandson, he is able to wield much more powerful variants of the spells he currently knows. While possessed, Jimmy gains the ability to channel all 'elemental' abilities listed below at the same time as opposed to normally only being able to channel into one element at a time.
Fire Magic[]
When Jimmy is channeling the element of Fire, his eyes begin to glow a bright blue. White-blue hot flames also surround his eyes and hands. When Jimmy focuses, he can unleash a powerful flamethrower of searing white and blue flames from his hands that can quickly engulf an area.
Ice Magic[]
When channeling Ice magic, Jimmy's eyes begin to glow a brilliant silver-white. A frozen mist forms around both his eyes and hands. Occasionally, frigid bursts of snow and ice emit from his body. When focusing, Jimmy can conjure very sharp icicles, which form in front of his hands, which can then be launched forwards at very fast speeds.
Water Magic[]
Upon channeling the element of Water, Jimmy's eyes glow a light sea-foam green. A strange glowing water forms on both his eyes and hands. When focusing, Jimmy can cast three water bolts in quick succession. If need be, Jimmy can also release a powerful stream of pressurized water from his hands. Not much is known about the glowing water conjured by Jimmy - or if it has any unique properties at all, although Jimmy has been overheard saying "Sometimes the plants aren't the only things that need help... people can be pure too..."
Lightning Magic[]
When Jimmy channels Lightning magic, his eyes glow an electric yellow. Yellow arcs of lightning can be seen emitting from both his eyes and hands. When focusing, Jimmy can discharge an incredibly powerful stream of lightning from his fingers. Jimmy can also point his fingers in any direction he chooses, and, after a short time, can cause a lightning bolt to strike down and envelope a small area with electrical energy. Jimmy, many times, has issues directing lightning to a specific area due to his current lack of control. This goes for both his Lightning Stream and his Lightning Strike. He considers channeling Lightning magic to be very unstable and will only use it when he feels he has no other choice.
Earth Magic[]
While channeling Earth magic, Jimmy's eyes dim to an earthy-brown and his skin becomes hardened, turning a stone-gray. Rocks quickly begin to form around both his eyes and hands. When Jimmy chooses, he can conjure a small group of rocks in front of him; the rocks then quickly spin and collide into each other to form a medium-sized boulder. Jimmy can then hurl the boulder forward at a dangerous velocity. Jimmy has the ability to control the boulder in mid-air, allowing him to change the boulder's course if need be. While draining for him, Jimmy can also break apart the ground, causing very large and jagged spikes of earth to quickly jut up from underneath a targeted area. Jimmy considers channeling Earth magic to be very difficult and tiring. If Jimmy loses control while channeling the element of Earth, there is a possibility that he may cause a series of large earthquakes at his location, which can be very devasting to the surrounding area.
Void Energy[]
Jimmy cannot utilize Void energy intentionally. In fact, he is totally unaware of the existence of Void energy as a whole. Jimmy can only channel the Void's energy while being possessed by his grandfather, Gramppe Akal. While channeling the Void, Jimmy's eyes glow a deep purple. A dark purple energy along with jet black particles envelope both of Jimmy's hands and eyes. When Gramppe decides, he can let forth a large spherical mass of Void energy that creates rips in space and time around Jimmy. When the mass of Void energy impacts a location, a black hole is formed and quickly collapses on the target area.
Force Field[]
When channeling his force field, Jimmy's eyes glow a light purple. Jimmy can create a powerful force field around himself that he can use both offensively and defensively. Most of the time his force field is used in order to repel oncoming attacks. If need be, using the force field, Jimmy can hover into the air and propel himself in any direction he chooses at great speeds. When outside of combat Jimmy usually uses his force field as a means of travel.
Items & Equipment[]
Robes (Normal)[]
Jimmy Akal's robes make him easy to spot in any crowd. This could be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. Not much 'pops out', so to speak, at first glance of the robes. They look to be made of a comfortable fabric. The primary color of the garments is light gray while the remainder is black -- apart from the hood which is a dark blue color. Embroidered into the sash of the uniform is a strange symbol. It occasionally pulsates a light-purple energy. When asked about it, Jimmy has enunciated that the symbol represents the Void.
Robes (Null)[]
In stark contrast to his usual attire, these robes most certainly draw attention. The robes are made of a very soft and comfortable silk-like material. Embellished with a large striking, silver-lined eye on the front of the hood, many people report experiencing a feeling of discomfort when gazing directly at it. While wearing the robes, Jimmy appears to possess an uncanny level of focus and serenity. He claims the robes allow him to "discern a person's true character". Jimmy Akal has stated that he had received the robes as a gift from the Void entity known as Mogo Tol upon joining The Perception of Null.
Staff[]
The staff Jimmy carries is not used as a conduit for his magic. He makes it very clear to those who bother to listen that he channels his magic and that he doesn't need any items to assist in said channeling. The staff's base is made out of a silver-looking metal. On both ends of the staff are light purple crystals -- the one on the top end of the staff being larger than that of the bottom. It appears that the crystal on the top end of the staff is glowing more brightly than that of the bottom end. The top crystal also periodically forms strange glowing particles around it and draws them towards the crystal, absorbing them into it once they make impact.
Wand[]
Similar to the staff Jimmy has equipped, his wand is also not used as a conduit for his magic. The wand is made out of the same silver-looking metal and has a small crystal at its tip. Unlike the staff, the wand does not seem to form any sort of strange particles around its crystal, although the crystal does emanate the same light purple glow of the crystals on the staff.
Spell Book[]
The spell book on Jimmy's hip is attached to his robes via what looks to be a chain. The boy claims that he was given the book by his grandfather. According to Jimmy, the book contains vast amounts of knowledge pertaining to very powerful spells. The only problem is that the book is sealed and cannot be opened. The two crystals embedded into the book are believed to be the source of the powerful seal. Jimmy states that his grandfather has informed him that the book will become unsealed "when he is ready".
Dagger[]
Rarely ever seen, and only used when the circumstances call for it, Jimmy Akal does have a dagger that he can use to quickly surprise enemies. The dagger is made out of a similar metal to that of both the staff and wand. Etched into the dagger's rain guard is the symbol of the Void. Like the Void symbol embroidered into Jimmy's robes, the Void symbol on the dagger periodically pulsates with a light purple energy. Jimmy was exploring the cathedral grounds within the Void when he heard a noise that could best be described as crying. He followed in the direction he thought the cries were coming from -- when they suddenly stopped. Jimmy found the dagger lodged into the trunk of a tree next to a strange sinkhole.
Pouches[]
Jimmy Akal has two pouches fastened to his belt, opposite of his spell book. Within the pouches Jimmy tends to carry gold coins which are used as a form of currency. Jimmy has been known to randomly request the help of passersby to aid with various things he may need done at any given moment. Those who successfully complete his requests are given gold coins as a reward.

- Jimmy Akal has been sighted frequently within the following worlds: The Room of The Rain, The Great Pug, The Black Cat, Audience Anarchy, The Void (Avatar Hub), Drinking Night, Summer Solitude, Midnight Rooftop and various club worlds. That's not to say that you cannot come across Jimmy Akal in any world! Some have reported that they run into him everywhere -- almost as if there are multiple clones of Jimmy wandering around.
- Jimmy Akal has taken it upon himself to water all of the plants he comes across within the VRChat universe. He has been heard frequently stating "Nobody waters these poor things", as he channels his water magic, and casts globs of water at any plant life he sees.
- Jimmy Akal cannot hold more than two gold coins in his hand at once.
- The string on Jimmy Akal's robe is grabbable!
- While in club worlds, Jimmy Akal has been seen channeling Lightning magic and discharging streams of lightning from his hands during a beat drop.
