Jamie Mulberry is one of the students that arrived at Ascension Academy at the start of year 3.

Jamie is the 2nd oldest child of Ernest and Bethany Mulberry. Jamie is also their only son, having 6 other sisters.
As befitting of the Head of the Guard, Ernest is most well known for his strict and effective military leadership. On the other hand, Bethany has their hands in a lot of conventional businesses, effectively making her the manager of the Mulberry brand.
Managing quite a large plot of farmland, the Mulberry family provides a substantial amount of Taldera's food supply, in both agriculture and horticulture. The Mulberry family also owns several grocery storefronts branded under their own name, but also invested in a fair amount of other smaller food related businesses and restaurants.
History[]
Growing up, Jamie had a very difficult time understanding others, and almost always preferred to be by himself. Even in his own home, Jamie's 6 sisters (both younger and older) bullied him relentlessly.
Jamie's father, Ernest, tried to train him to become the next heir of the Mulberry family, but Jamie seemed to be very inattentive to anything he was taught. To Ernest, this was seen as a sign of ineptitude.
At the age of 12, Jamie was sent to live and train in Taldera's military barracks by his father Ernest. For the next 6 years, Jamie would suffer through training that was meant for hardened soldiers. The guard meant well for the most part, and tried to co-opt him as one of their own, but there was a lot that Jamie couldn't comprehend. As such, there were some methods undertaken from the guard to toughen him up that could very much be looked as near torture. Some of the guard even used these "exercises" as a vain way to get back at Jamie's father, as Ernest was just as strict and unmerciful to his own guards as well. Unsurprisingly, none of this helped Jamie become the heir his father wanted.
When Jamie turned 18, he was forcefully enrolled into Ascension Academy by Ernest. To Ernest, this is Jamie's last chance to become someone that would make the Mulberry family proud. If Jamie cannot, then he would be the shame of the Mulberry family for the rest of his life.
