Who is Iris Sularis?[]
Iris Sularis is a student that transferred at the middle of year 3 to Ascension Academy.
History[]
Iris was born within the continent of Duat, in the middle of a tribe transition from the Astrian Jungles. Her mother was Estil, a yuan-ti maiden revered by their tribe, and her father was Arwen Aire, a high elf ambassador from Aldoria.
Early in life, Iris was quickly taught the harsh lesson of her differences from the other yuan-ti kids around her. Her only companion was her twin brother Valerion.
After settling just outside of Cairo, she discovered the mistreatment her people underwent on a daily basis. Time and time again she watched her yuan-ti brethren be beaten and taken into slavery. After the yuan-ti tribe leader was taken, Iris’ mother took over and joined the rebellion against the Inquisition. During this time, Iris and her brother Valerian also helped her mother using a stolen charm, disguising themselves as a full blooded elves. She used the charm to distract guards, gather information and rumors, and slip into places where yuan-tis are unwelcome.
One day, however, her brother Valerian vanished after going into the city to do something for their mother. With her brother's disappearance and the restrictions on her people becoming worse by the day, she decided that she must train to become stronger.
Eventually, her father was able to secure Iris as a cadet in Ascension Academy. It is there where she hopes she can alter the fate of her people, and finally rid the world of the Inquisition once and for all.
