What is the original Hoppou?[]
The original Hoppou is a short white character based on the Northern Princess from the anime Kantai Collection. They are usually three to four feet in height with pale skin and huge round eyes.
Many avatars in VRChat are inspired by Hoppou.
"Hoppou's" in VRChat[]
They usually travel in packs, silently exchanging an unheard language between them or a vocal "poi". Usually, Hoppou's wander around and silently watch; however, they have been seen targeting individuals and will either get closer or grow in numbers to surround the target to stare at them.
The first hoppou group that reached recognition was Project H with many other groups branching out from it.
They usually just silently stare at everything or follow a specific target. Many of them can be seen in various videos from various content makers. The Hoppous even went out of their way to show up at weddings to spam heart emotes in celebration.

Variants[]
Multiple variants of Hoppous exist. Many are simple recolours. However, in modern times hoppous branch out to many different species of hoppou, some fennecs, some moths and many others, all using the same head with eyelashes and big round eyes. One Hoppou has been seen even riding a Solid Ronald McDonald as a steed.
Some Hoppous do not have the physical capability of using their hands, but this doesn't seem to bother them.
