US Army Of VRChat is a United States Army roleplay group in the VRChat community. The group was founded in February 2018 as the GKA before eventually becoming the USAVRC years later. Currently the group consists of the Army, led by General yukio okumura.
The USAVRC hosts military trainings for enlisted members and fun events for the community to enjoy.
History[]
Formed in February 12 2018 by Yukio Okumura, the group was formerly known as the Grand Kanna Army. Unlike other military rp groups, they chose to don Kanna models to wear their uniforms. The choice of it's model's was different due to Waifu groups being as of late a large choice of selection within the VRChat community.
After a couple of years, the community came to be known as the US Army of Vrchat, now sporting the United States olive green dress and modern combat uniforms. Along with this transition, it lead to the USAVRC now using waifu models.
Occupations[]
The US Army of Vrchat has many different specialties/roles across the community that cover a whole range of skillsets and levels of responsibility. As an enlisted member, once you reach the rank of E-3, you can choose up to 3 different specialties you wish to be apart of. The certifications are down below.
Infantry - trains in the use of small arms, anti-tank, and other weapons systems. You will be responsible for capturing, destroying, and repelling enemy ground forces during missions. This is also the starting point for many advanced schools, such as: Special Forces, Airborne School, etc.
Scout - acts as the eyes and ears on the field, gathering information about enemy positions, vehicles, weapons, and activity.
1st Engineer Battalion - [Engineer or Technical Engineer] (WIP)
Radio Operator - provides team with reliable communications critical to mission success. They are primarily responsible for maintaining, transmitting, and monitoring communications + electrical systems.
Fire Support Specialist - gathers intelligence and enemy target location to help the Army determine where and how to deploy artillery in mission-based situations.
Medical Division - [Combat Medic, Field Medic or Surgeon] (WIP)
1st Tank Division - (WIP)
1st Media Division - manages all forms of media and social media to help spread community awareness
Recruitment Division - helps lead and operate the recruiting efforts for the community
Special Ops and Divisions[]
Drill Instructor Core - primary personnel to host training and promote recruits to make sure they hold up to the standard that is the community values. (Must be at least an E-4)
