Who is Conflee?

I am Conflee, a totally wholesome and confused pansexual dumbass nerd. More helpfully- Conflee is a VRChat Roleplayer in Ascension Academy, being part of their Lore Editors Team and Dev Team, as well as running the spin-off roleplay Cari Town. She is also a member of the VRChat Legends Historian Team, helping to maintain and update this wiki.

Conflee joined the VRChat community in January of 2018, being drawn in by the old Chipz and Nuts videos on Youtube and quickly discovering Woops and other streamers as the VRChat Boom hit. Prior to that, she had been roleplaying on a serious RP Minecraft server for 4 years (totaling 6 years now since I quit in early 2020) and before that in Dungeons and Dragons and occasionally Runescape for 4 or 5 more. Despite this, she has only barely begun to Roleplay in VRChat due to lacking a Headset and being too obsessive to RP in Desktop.

My interests tend to flicker between things- from VRChat RP, to Minecraft, to Homestuck, to Cartoons like Adventure Time and Steven Universe, to Star Wars, and the SCP Foundation. However in the end I always end up back at VRChat Roleplay, it has been my Special Interest since I found it.

VRChat:

Niam Deirdre (Ascension Academy)

Niam is a Cultural Anthropologist and Zoologist who was transferred to Ascension Academy as a Professor half way through the Third Year.

BUN-E (Modern Mythic Relations)

BUN-E is an outdated and very poorly maintained Synthetic, and member of MMR. Her issues, with both software, hardware, and emotional, run deep and are slowly being unraveled and mended by her friends in the guild.

William Artigas (Ascension Academy/Cari Town)

William is a troubled man trying to live peacefully in Cari Town, which was a bad decission because Cari Town is the least peaceful place on the planet it feels sometimes. He's the Mayor's assistant, exhausted by all that entails, struggling to find some escape.

Trollaf (Metastuck)

Trollaf is a movie character given life on Alternia, to act as a companion and friend for Wintri- a very isolated, lonely, a troubled young Troll. He was an elusive companion for the first sessions of Metastuck, however after being given a ribbon by Seerah he began making contact with the other Trolls.

Beyond VRChat:

Cael Ladveer (SwarmSMP S1)

Cael was taken from his home in a raid on the Overworld by the Withered many years ago. Much of his early years under their thumb after being turned are obscure, with Cael himself claiming he remembers little of the time. Slowly however, as he spent more time in the Nether, alongside other Withered, his Withering deepened and his mind returned in parts, still under the firm control of the Withered Demon the Uberwidren. Cael rose through the Withered's ranks, eventually becoming an Archagent of the Demon. His proximity to the Uberwidren escalated the rate of his Withering, and his power, eventually seeing him outpace the mind control he was under and defecting. Some time later, he escaped the Nether with a group of other Netherfolk, and joined the Swarm under Queen Parizz. He rose to be her Left Hand, as The Competent One, due to his disposition for organization, productivity, pragmatism, and ability to wrangle the others into line. As the year dragged on however, Cael began to doubt whether he followed Parizz because he wanted to, or if it was a lingering predisposition to favor authority like hers left over from his conditioning by the Withered.

This struggle nearly saw him betray the Queen on several occasions, but after introspection, and nearly losing her to the Trillnaire Demiplane Prison, he determined that he had in fact chosen to follow her. He fought alongside her in the Trillnaire Demiplane raid, and in the ensuing Omniwither Crisis which saw the total destruction of the world. Though Withered herself, Parizz escaped with a handful of other survivors to another plane. Cael stayed behind, determined to face the Demon one last time before he succumbed to the last stages of Withering himself and went feral. He died without getting to tell the Queen any of this.

Cael Ladveer (Massivecraft)

A man torn between cold pragmatism ground into him by the military and an innate wistful optimism, wracked by depression because of it. He became a mercenary and worked his way up in the world, eventually becoming the advisor of the Chancellor of the Regalian Empire despite secretly being a heretic and Jacobin- unfaithful to the Church of Unionism and an extremist anti-noble Liberal.

Ara Luro (Massivecraft)

An extremely short, temperamental Cielothar (Plains Elf) who set out into the world to find her sister. She was constantly victimized and beaten down by the racism of the Regalian Empire but she persevered, becoming a cunning warrior despite her lacking stature and eventually serving not only as a Guardsman in the City of Regalia, but also in the personal guard of the Chancellor.

Contributions to the Wiki

My favorite things I've done on the wiki so far.

• Chipz Biography Rewrite: Redid the entire Biography & History section of the main Chipz page from the ground up, and then later split the page into three for the three distinct canons of Chipz' RP- Legacy, Present Day, and Ascension Academy.
• Vampires Page: Started this page when all the lore we had fit in two short paragraphs. Now it's been nurtured into an 18 paragraph beauty.
• Cari Town: A page created almost entirely by me that I update regularly, for the Cari Town RP which I run. It is a spinoff in the same canon and continuity as Ascension Academy with a great deal of crossover.
• Ascension RP Locations: Another page I made but much more recent- it catalogs most of the locations visited in Chipz Season 5's RP so far.
• Conf's Roleplay Guide: A little 'blog' style page where I sometimes post 'Chapters' of specific Roleplay advice, stuff I wish people had told me when I was starting or even 2-3 years into my RP career. But nobody will. Except me I guess.

Trivia

• Previously she roleplayed on Massivecraft- a Minecraft RP server averaging 150-200 people at peak hours every day- for 6 years, as well as in Runescape and Dungeons and Dragons for 4-5 years. 
• She is a fan of Five Nights at Freddy's, Homestuck, Red vs Blue, and RadioTV Solutions productions like Half Life VR: But the AI is Self Aware and Half Life Alyx: But the Gnome is Too Aware.
• Her most played games are Dishonored, DayZ (the Mod and Standalone, 2000+ hrs), Team Fortress 2, and Minecraft (10000+ hrs).
• She is a huge fan of the Yogscast, and even briefly worked with Lewis and Ben on a YogLabs sequel series that fell through- being in charge of remaking a new modpack and a complete rebuild of the YogLabs set.
• Conf rarely dabbles in Roleplays besides Ascension Academy and occasional Metaverse lobbies like MMR, Inkwell, and Orlandosaka. Though she is also a Support Cast Player for Neon Divide.
