Who is Chadley Chaddington XVI?[]
Chadley Chaddington XVI is a human lieutenant guardsman of Ascension Academy.
History[]
Chadley was born into a family that has served in the CAF for multiple generations with the Chadley Chaddington I actually being involved and survived the war 300 years prior. The family has been oathsworn to serve in the CAF to help fight the darkness though the knowledge of that reason has been lost to the family since Chadley Chaddington V.

Chadley has served in CROSS after directly enlisting into the CAF at the age of 18 and eventually met his wife while on active duty. Anastasia eventually became Chadley’s squad lead and Chadley her 2nd and have been deployed in multiple missions together. After getting married the two went to separate squads to avoid a conflict of interest.
Chadley still worked with his wife in crafting different spells that she utilized in combat. Chadley also assisted his wife in crafting the staff she uses in combat.Tragically Anastasia died in combat at the age of 55 after she used all her mana in the spell she used to secure the success of the mission.
Chadley had been offered to retire but opted for a demotion and transferred into the ICD. During the events of year 2 Chadley was part of the escorts Kei had at the academy and Chadley witness the events linked to the darkness. After that event, Chadley requested a transfer as a guard at the academy realizing this was what his ancestors fought against. Chadley hopes to contribute into keeping the darkness at bay up till his end of his days.
Chadley refuses to come back to his home in Ancestra due to memories of his deceased wife coming back to him whenever he is there causing great sadness. He left the affairs of the estate in his eldest son’s charge.
