"Virtual YouTuber", "VTuber" or "VTubers" are streamers who livestream variety games and chat similar to having a webcam on but instead they show a digital representative in the form of an avatar on stream. Many of VRChat's personalities have become VTubers to expand their horizons in gaming and content creation. Several still come back occasionally to visit VRChat.

One of the very first VTubers would technically be KimplE, as she would sit in front of a green screen in her VRChat room, and play video games (though Jabroni Mike insists that he is Twitch's first VTuber). The technology has since expanded and now a lot of people can be seen from VRChat being VTubers, following the popular trend as a way to connect more with their audience. The ladies of VShojo often visit VRChat, with even some of their members originating from the social experience.
