Lycans are a group of beings who are supernatural humans who can turn into wolf-like beasts or wolves. Most Lycans display their wolf like features in the form of wolf ears, tails, and sometimes even their teeth. The most common way to become a Lycan is to either be bit by another Lycan or be born from Lycan parents. Lycans is often also referred to as Werewolves or Lycanthropes. Lycanthrope can also refer to Werebeasts such as Wererats, Weretigers, etc but currently only Werewolves have been sighted in the VRChat universe
Lycans share similar characteristics to Okami but Okami have an unspecified wolf-like appearance while someone Lycan fits more the definition of a werewolf or identifies as such.
