He first appeared at Ascension Academy with his wife Brian, the Queen of the fairies, invited by Professor Willow.[1]
Year 3[]
After arriving back at the academy Briar checks on the mother tree and founds a sleeping Chipz inside its nook. When Chipz wakes up Briar began to interrogate him and Flora about their finding on the tree, after they tell him about what happened Briar concluded that the tree is healthy enough for now and that it would be normal for the darkness to try to weaken it after it has been guarding the school for such a long time.
