Aurore’s life isn’t what one would typically call...normal. Born in the year of 1940, she spent a portion of her early childhood spent around planes and medical bays of the 1940s, her parents were two opposite ends of the spectrum, with one being a gruff old man, hardened to the world, and the other being a short, somewhat bubbly young officer who was growing a bit jaded after such a dull service in the Imperial army.

Aurore herself would be nigh inseparable from her brother Dante, however. At the age of 3, Aurore and her brother would be sent off to a boarding school--she wouldn’t recall much from these times, as it was for more simplistic things--the ABC’s, basic numbers, and the like. At the age of four, her familiar life would change, dramatically. She doesn’t recall much--a flash of light, and some loud noise. Then they were back home, though it was horribly dusty.

But from there, life would continue as per the norm. Eventually, her mother would retire from the Air Force Medical Corp, and become a pediatrician. Her father would continue until his body gave out and Ada forced him to retire. Aurore was initially put into a fairly fancy private school in her developmental years, until her mother, Ada, determined that Aurore wasn’t getting much interaction with friends.

She chose to enroll her child in the same school as Sophia Eisend, her childhood friend whom she saw frequently. Aurore was unfortunately a bit behind her friend, due to transferring schools, however she always tried her best, always wanting to surpass her friend, but never quite getting there. However, come high school, Aurore would have trouble staying close with Sophia, due to the passing of her godfather, Alexander Eisend. While Aurore wanted to comfort her friend, she was also having to deal with how devastated her mother was by her friends passing, as well as taking college courses in advance so she would graduate with her two year degree.

When she graduated, she decided to take a break from academics to help her mother cope with the loss, and the two would go on a trip around the world, seeing other cultures and places. To occupy the travel time on planes and such, Aurore would take an interest in video games, particularly pokemon. When the traveling was done, Aurore had a long talk with her mother about where she should go moving forward. Her mom suggested maybe she take up medicine, like she did, and Aurore liked that idea.

As she was heading off to school, her father pulled her aside and sat her down, having a genuine heart to heart with her. He told her stories of how him and her mother had served in the Imperial Army, and how Ada had saved people's lives in the arctic during an expedition. The lives of people that would go on to do great things in the army, and leave behind a valuable legacy. With stories that almost seemed like tall tales embedded in her mind, she set off to college to become a general surgeon, hoping to help save lives. School was a struggle for her, however. She’d flub a class here, need to retake there, but eventually, she’d make it to getting her doctorate, and becoming a fully certified surgeon.

Concluding her tenure at school, she found herself in a mall one day looking at a small table that had been set up, advertising military service across the way. She idly thought back to when she first went off to college and the stories her dad had told her, and made a choice to enlist. She didn’t have much back home anyways.

Her basic training was about as expected--grueling, long, and ultimately difficult for the short fox girl. Instructors would often point out how silly her ears looked, sticking up like a confused animal, when she aimed down range, or how her gray hair made her look like a short old lady. Regardless, she trudged on, and passed with flying colors.

While initially tempted to join the air force, or even the KSK, she decided to become a field medic instead, surprisingly finding herself deployed to the same regiment her childhood friend had been. She was determined to try and rise above her in the ranks, but alas, Sophia had a head start in her service, making it almost impossible for Aurore to ever hope to catch up. But still, the friendly rivalry remained--even though there was no real ‘contest’ to be had, with Sophia already being the Surgeon General.
