What is Among Us RP?[]
Among Us RP is an RP set in the popular Among Us gamemode map, inspired by the Among Us video game. Despite making use of this map, which is a fully functional recreation of the game, very few of the mechanics actually come into play as most activities are Roleplayed out instead. It is essentially a series of mini-RPs where each round can last for over an hour. The scenario, characters, and roles are different every round, though some personalities come up more than once.
The Mechanics[]
The mechanics of Among Us RP is fairly simple. A group of up to 10 characters, with assigned roles and responsibilities, is on a ship and must survive the journey. The scenario of every round if different- sometimes it is a classic 2 Imposter aliens are trying to kill everyone, sometimes it is an illness and the crew self destructs trying to contain it, etc. Sometimes they are in deep space, or returning from Mars, what have you.
Roles:[]
- Captain (x1) - The Captain of the ship. Able to go anywhere and command anyone.
- Lieutenant (x1) - The Captain's second. Operates with the Captain's authority.
- Security (x2) - Keeps everyone in line. Investigates suspect activity. Can go anywhere except Admin and Navigation.
- Pilots (x2) - Navigate the ship, man shields, weapons, and coms. Able to roam the front half of the ship.
- Engineers (x2) - Maintain the ship's reactors and electrical, as well as any other malfunctions that occur in other zones.
- Medical Officer (x1~) - Obtain scans of the crew and tend to any injuries. Works in the Medbay.
- Science Officer (x1) - Assist the Medical Officer, perform research. Works in the Medbay.
- Janitor* - Optional Role, cleans the ship.
- A.I* - Optional Role, observes the crew and reports to the captain. Uses an invisible avatar.
Rules:[]
- Imposters do not actually Kill the crew, as this forces the player to spectate from a map which is boring. Instead, mime out the actions in a clear manner so they understand that they were killed and how.
- Dead crew must remain where they died, either lying on the ground or crouched, until they are found. After they are found they may switch to an invisible avatar to roam and spectate.
- Do not blitz kill, act as though you have a cooldown. The point is to Roleplay not to win.
- Crewmates should not be trying to complete the map's tasks, they should be roleplaying their own made up tasks in their assigned work space based on their role. The point is to Roleplay not to win.
- Stick to your work space unless you have good reason to leave it. Not doing your job is suspect. Not following the chain of command is suspect.

Trivia[]
- Brunswick frequently plays as Science Officer Purple, portraying him as a tired and somewhat bitter professional, though the portrayal varies somewhat each time.
- References to the Nostromo from the Aliens franchise are somewhat frequent in the RP, for obvious reasons.
- The S.S Olympus was the first ship in the RP to succeed in their mission, albeit with several casualties. They identified the threat, ejected it, and terminated it with the ship's weapon systems before it could escape.
