Alexander Morion Ithil is an elven student from Sjornbal that Ascension Academy meets in the events of the North Mission.
Who is Alexander Ithil?[]
Alexander Ithil is a 115-year-old elf from Aldoria, the main city of the Aldoria kingdom. He hails from a subfamily under a decently well-established elvish family that is known to be excellent and loyal guards. Alexander lived his entire life so far following the family's path in training to be a strong combatant and guard. Unfortunately for him, he was lackluster compared to the others in terms of pure strength and agility, along with being stained with a high aptitude for dark affinity. Being part of this House carries high prestige, honor, and most importantly, lots of pressure to succeed for the members of the family. As the years went by, he would get less favor from his House and even his family, to the point where all he would get was little attention and only the most basic of equipment for basic, unimportant duties.
Alexander’s passion and desire were, and still are, to protect others from all harm, fueling him to keep pushing throughout the years, even when it got rough. This did not go unnoticed, as the only reason they have not disowned him is due to one person, an elder of the House who, somewhat like Alexander, did not excel in being a strong combatant. The elder did find success becoming a magic healer, something that he took pride in. The elder began teaching him that there are more ways to help and protect others than just strength, such as using his other weaker affinity, earth, to heal others. Alexander would accept and therefore become the elders' protégé; after this, few of the family would start to acknowledge him as somewhat useful, while others would continue to look down upon him.
After some time under the tutelage of his master, Alexander would learn basic healing magic using his earth affinity; while not his strongest affinity, he discovers that he has a knack and passion for healing. Alexander would keep learning healing magic along with other practical medical aid. While still a novice, he was able to keep up with most injuries given proper time and resources. With the help of the mentor and this newfound skill, some of the members from subfamilies started to look at him in a better light and not as a complete outcast. At some point, the family trusted him enough and, with help from his mentor, was convinced to let Alexander go off to a CAF controlled academy to further his training. Once the family decided to let Alexander go, he was given his assigned equipment and basic rations and sent off to the CAF.
Alexander is currently a 3rd year at Sjornbal.
