The Adventurer's Guild is a far-spread Guild tasked with clearing away local threats such as bandits and monsters along with making the roads and local towns a safer place to live. Guilds are usually established on town and villages and they receive their funding from the city and the city businesses that they help with a discount price on exchange.

Over the years, hundreds of groups that could be considered 'progenitors' of the Adventurer's Guild have existed, though in truth none can claim direct ancestry to the modern day Guild. The commonality with all of these groups are their early support and funding from various merchant guilds across the world.

Where goods must be transported, merchant guards must be paid to ensure roaming monsters and bandits do not intercept and disrupt their movement. Over time, the natural progression for these groups was to settle down and plant their roots in trade hubs, eventually growing in renown and influence until they rivaled the merchant guilds they were founded to protect.

Many of these smaller independent guard companies, mercenary bands, and adventurer's guilds suffered heavily during the World War, and in the aftermath rose the Adventurer's Guild. Existing as 'franchises' across the world, abiding by and with the backing of the central Adventurer's Guild and endorsed by the Cross-Allied Forces, this unified and standardized guild spread rapidly, asserting their presence and making the roads mostly safe for travel.

Ranking System[]

The guild uses a ranking system to classify missions and adventurers, the following lists the ranks from lower to higher:

Novice
Apprentice
Journeyman
Hero
S

Adventurer's Registration[]

All the adventurers with first registered will start at the Novice rank regardless of their power level or their accomplishments (although they are treated differently), only after completing the missions of the guild they can upgrade their rank. The adventurers must give their name and their specialization.

The higher the rank the higher the risks but also the higher the benefits, such as their funding for equipment and the like.

Quests[]

Quest are posted mainly on the quest board where every adventurer can check them out. The quest will depend on the local villagers and businesses, this will change depending on the city; all the quest need to be approved by the Guild master. Adventurers can also commission quests.

Quest Stars & Ranking up[]

The guild works with a star system from 1 to 5 stars to assign the difficulty of a quest. To advance in Rank you need to accumulate an assigned number of stars.

Novice: 0-11 Stars
Apprentice: 12-23 Stars
Journeyman: 24-49 Stars
Hero: 50-99 Stars
S: 100+ Stars

Creation of Quest Bulletins[]

Although the quest will change on different places the guild has a standard for the bulletin quest that has to be followed by all the guilds:

The quest bulletin will have the rank that the Guildmaster redeems to be appropriate (Novice, apprentice, etc.).
Groups suggestion; usually 1-2 people.
Quest title.
Location.
Description of the mission.
Reward.
Suggested equipment.
